We loved all the resort activities, water sports and physical sports that were offered and included free of charge. We went snorkeling, took a catamaran tour, water skied, played squash, participated in Sip N Paint, kayaked, water biked, and paddle boarded--all included at no charge. We also tried scuba diving lessons but will next time. The food was authentic and we were provided with a variety of opportunities to eat at different places. Most of all the beach was picture perfect for the Carribean!! Best beach we have been too. I loved that the resort offered lounge floatations with each lounge chair. It made going out into the ocean much more enjoyable.
The only thing that was disappointing was using syrups for frozen drinks. Punta Cana is the only place where they use fresh coconut cream and pineapple juice for Pina Coladas or a real banana for a Dirty Monkey. It makes a huge difference especially being in place surrounded by the items used to make these! Mojitos were very fresh though. The room was as fancy as other places but the linens and towels were superb and we were not hanging out in our room all day.
I was surprised hearing the MANY returning guests. This is our 4th island and the first time we heard time and time again from guest we met how they had been there before. It is a small resort that provides intamacy and quaintness to relax and rejuvenate. It is exactly what we needed!
