My granddaughter was rudely awakes at 7am saying that she didn’t pay for her room and to get out immediately. She showed confirmation and they told her that anyone can get a confirmation online. We will never frequent this hotel again. Very disappointed.

DO NOT STAY! Major scam. This place would not honor our reservations. For those that were able to walk in and get rooms they were charged $100 cash only deposit. They have a housekeeper who they send into the room to ‘sniff’ the room before and after your stay and they would not release the cash deposit because the room smelled. We made our reservations through Expedia. Called to confirm and were told yes we had a room. The day we actually got to the hotel we were turned away because they sold out of rooms. Such a scam. Rent somewhere else!

Floor was dirty; didn't seem to have been mopped in a while. Several things in room didn't work when I arrived, but staff was very friendly and resposive when I notified them.

No Room At The Tree Inn In Albuquerque
This reservation was made in June for the express purpose of having a place to stay the night before the annular eclipse. I chose the pay at the hotel option. About an hour before we arrived on our drive down from Denver, I called the hotel to let them know we would be arriving at about 7:15 pm. I was informed then that they were sold out and had no room for me because Hotels.com had not called them when the reservation was made to confirm availability. I still drove to the hotel to see what I could do. After standing around for 15 minutes with absolutely no movement in the line of customers waiting to check in, listening to the desk clerk give the same excuse to someone at the counter over a reservation made through Expedia and my wife coming out of the employee restroom saying "We're NOT staying here" because of the non-cleanliness, I left. I ending up staying next door, in a less than desirable room, for $250 for the night, much more than what I had expected to pay at Tree Inn & Suites. In my opinion, they turned away Pat At Hotel reservations in order to sell the rooms at double or triple the price because of the eclipse and Balloon Festival, which is big in Albuquerque. I feel this hotel should not be listed on Hotels.com. They do not honor reservations made through your website, so you are doing your customers a disservice by continuing to list rooms for this hotel. This was by far my worst hotel experience.

This is NOT a hotel in the traditional sense. This is a rooming house. There is NO priority given to those with confirmed reservations. If a tenet has left, they may have a room for you, in which case all adults will be asked to sign ridiculous forms. There is a $100 CASH only deposit required. There is no maid service. Guests must clean their own rooms and take their own trash to a dumpster on the premises.

Worst experience ever in staying in hotels
When we arrived, many angry people were in the lobby. Desk personnel informed us that they had no rooms left. We confirmed, called twice to make sure we had rooms. Not sure what is up with them. We had to book at the Ramada Inn down the street.

Front desk lady said they are no longer accepting reservations throught orbitz or any other app so she wasnt able to respect our reservation although my name did show up on her records. But then she offered me the hotel’s regular rate. I ended up cancelating the reservation thank god because there was a family complaining before me about room cleaningness

the hotel need improvement ASAP!!!!! management and front desk very concern and helpful to accommodate us with a reliable room, but the cleanness of the rooms were not up to the sleeping standards i will recommend to see the room (s) before settle to stay very disappointed

DO NOT DO IT!
I booked a room at this hotel two months in advance, only to receive a phone call the day of check-in that there would not be a room available for us because they had over-booked themselves. I asked if they would be paying the difference in price for a hotel room elsewhere and they refused. I asked if they had ANY other way to compensate the absolute inconvenience and cost to us. They refused.

Do NOT stay at these Hotel
Over an hour to check in, have policy not to smoke and rooms stink of cigarette smoke and gets worst ones you turn on the a/c, halls have urine smell, cigarette burns, curtains dirty and don't close. I can keep going but the bottom line just don't stay at all. Also they don't reimburse if you want to check out early.

Desperation makes strange bedfellows
You have to know it's going to be bad when you have to sign an agreement at checkin that you won't do drugs, engage in domestic violence, or have 'visitors' after 10pm. Sadly every other option for my one night stay was booked. I even had to take all of my toiletries to the room myself. And YES, I mean ALL; tp, soap, remote, etc. The irony was that there was no garbage can in the room to place my bag after I 'unpacked'.

Extremely dissapointing
The rooms were sub par & the roof in the bathroom of one room collapsed on the first night. I will never return or use Hotels.com again.

This place is under new management and this is how we live since COVID and they have my husband a job and a monthly rate which helps us so much rather than weekly,slowly it's getting put back together and better than before and it's been difficult finding an apartment so this is a major nreakthrew.

The staff was awesome and I've stayed in worse places. Housekeeping could have done a better job since I had to clean all handles and light switches. I was very disappointed that the pool was not available. The water pressure was minimal and the water was lukewarm. The new management management is doing a good job at keeping the place safe and trying to clean the place up.

WARNING: You may not be able to check in to this hotel, despite having a reservation. First, know this is the kind of hotel where people live. Several very low-income people and families are clearly living in this hotel, which is fine, but know this before booking. There's a reason this place is so cheap. But worse, the front desk is often unattended. I booked this hotel through Orbitz and when I showed up (~8pm on a Friday), nobody was at the front desk and there was a sign to call a number. Nobody answered that number, nor the main number for the hotel. After hanging around outside the hotel and calling several times, I eventually bailed and booked another hotel. This could happen to you also. Thankfully, Orbitz refunded me for this debacle, but don't expect the Tree Inn to actually be open when you arrive. In other words, just don't stay here.

We checked in and checked out within 20-30 minutes from the property. The room had a strong smell of smoke. There was hair on the floor and there was a huge barefoot footprint right on the door. The bathroom door looked as if it had been forced. There was just this really bad vibe. My little girl refused to even sit on the bed (2yr) and cried non stop until we left. Check in and check out was easy and pleasant but that's about it. Never have I EVER had to check out so quickly (between the time we checked in we left the hotel and came back only to check out)

This place sucks!!!
Never stay here! I found out the hard way that check in is only up to 7pm. I tried to check in about 10:30 pm and no one answered the door. A note on the door said to call a number if checking in after 7 and I tried calling and calling and no answer. Never again !

Si van con la familia no es un buen lugar, esta peor de lo que esta en las fotos. La zona hay mucho vagabundo, el hotel esta muuuy sucio, pelos en las camas, baños, el aire no servia, tierra en el piso. No lo recomiendo para nada.
