Very nice place, beautiful grounds and pool, located walking distance to many restaurants and shops. We stayed the the hotel before the season so the was a lot od cleanup going on (for the most of the week worker was pressure washing pool area, very noisy). Staff was really friendly and always very helpful. Our room was amazing, very spacious, bright and super clean. I was very happy with my choice of stay to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary (hotel surprised us with bottle of wine and cheese tray) and would highly recommend it

We stayed here for 3 nights after being on mainland Portugal for a week and it was a nice vacation from our vacation. Good stuff: comfortable beds, view from our room, food and drinks in the bar. Just ok stuff: breakfast buffet, dinner buffet. Not good: jacuzzi smelled and was luke warm.

We especially liked the view. Also, the parking was easy, and the location was close enough to town to walk. We wish that there had been the ability to make coffee or tea in the room. The only option was to purchase it in the dining room or lounge.

The customer service was excellent, very helpful. The property is beautiful and easily accessible. We only wish we made our reservations for additional days. We tried to stay longer, but the hotel was booked. We will definitely recommend to others and hope to return.

Excelente estadia! Desde o acolhimento à simpatia e disponibilidade do staff irrepreensível. A localização é excelente bem como as condições e oferta no hotel. Unico reparo à troca diária das toalhas completamente desnecessaria.

Beautiful hotel, our room balcony had ocean outdoor pool view, as I believe all the rooms do. It was spacious. Staff were kind and helpful. Breakfast in the hotel was delicious. They also have an indoor pool and fitness center. Ample covered and uncovered complimentary parking in the hotel. Downtown was less than 10min drive away. What a wonderful location for a stay on Terceira Island, would definitely come back and stay here.

Amazing stay
This hotel is awesome! It appeared that all the rooms on the ocean side had a small balcony to enjoy the views & sea breeze. We basically had the pent house room/suite & it was phenomenal 😊 The infinity pool & pool bar are so enjoyable & the staff were all very kind & helpful. I hope we get to come back some day.

The front desk staff and cleaning staff were fantastic and quick, always friendly, helpful and our room was always spotless. The hotel was conveniently loacted near 2 swimming areas, an ice cream shop and a grocery store. A nice 10 minute walk into the centre of town was also convenient. The pool was beautiful and the views were amazing. We appreciated the robes, slippers and welcome fruit tray. As a vegetarian, we appreciated the options that were available to us..though not alot of options, what was available was very tasty and affordable, we can not say the same for the price of hotel cocktails which were very expensive. Other than that, we loved staying here and would highly recommend. 4.5 stars.

Super hôtel / mauvais restaurant / vue magnifique
Bel hôtel très bien placé pour visiter l'île. Peut-être la plus belle vue de Terceira ! Les chambres sont spacieuses et la vue du balcon un régal, attendre les vagues de son lit c'est top ! Personnel sympathique et accueil très efficace. Très jolie piscine extérieure fraiche mais baignable. Seul bémol : la nourriture et c'est vraiment dommage pour cet établissement : buffet bas de gamme et service au bar dégoutant (j'ai commandé une salade au saumon et est eu une salade aux crevettes mal décongelées donc crues mais chaudes sur un mix de salades en sachet avec des oeufs durs chaud aussi). Ils ont un bijou en main, la déco est splendide il ne manque plus qu'un cuisinier et ce sera parfait ! Sinon les cocktails étaient très bons et pas chers. Beaucoup de bons resto juste à côté, donc hôtel à recommander.

Terceira Mar Hotel is a short walk from the heart of Angra de Heroismo and yet the views from the rooms and front of house areas are quite simply stunning. The food was good, standard buffet fare, however, the bedrooms are very nice, all seaward facing offering good space and in my case an enormous bed which I loved. I found the staff friendly and attentive. This hotel truly earns its four stars.
