“Nice place, great location, comfortable rooms and lovely view. I stayed in room 2 and it needs a little improvement in terms of fittings, a new safe and electrical point. Will definitely book at Atlantic Villa again in the future as the value for money was good and the staff were helpful and friendly.”

“It's outrageous that Aloegrove has a rating less than 5 stars! If you are driving to Etosha or back from Etosha, stop at Aloegrove, and stay two nights. Aloegrove is a decent drive off the B1, but it is more than worth it. Johan and Ivy have build a marvellous lodge with Comanding views over the surrounding countryside. The luxury suites overlook the Waterberg plateau, and have an unobstructed view from the hilltop that Alloegrove occupies. The rooms have views of the plateau from the bathroom...

“This property is central to Windhoek; in fact when I put “Windhoek” into my Google maps, it ends up a block away from the hotel. The food on the roof is just a touch better than the fantastic view. The staff is very nice and accommodating. Every museum is within walking distance. The wifi works better than most places in Namibia and the room is temperature controlled. There is absolutely nothing negative to stare about my stay at this hotel. ”

“Room was nice and modern, though noise from other rooms and the central courtyard was quite noticeable early morning. Location was great, short walk to restaurants and cafes. The owners were very nice, they let us leave our car at the property the day we checked out as we took a tour to the dunes. 2 things that would make this place even better, longer beds (they were very short) and better blinds to block out light when the sun comes up. ”
