기대했던 여행을 망쳐버린 최악의 호텔
서비스가 정말 최악이었어요. 몇개월 전에 예약을 하고 갔고 체크인 당일 낮 12시쯤 도착하였습니다. 그럼에도 오버부킹이라 방이 없으니 다른 방을 안내해주겠다고 했습니다. 원했던 방도 아니고 복층 구조로 별로 마음에 들지 않아 원래 예약한 방을 구해달라고 했더니 알겠다며 2-3시간 있다가 다시 오라고 했습니다. 밖에서 놀다가 오후 4시쯤 다시 갔더니 1층 체크인 데스크 뒷편 101호 방을 안내하더군요. 이미 여러 블로그에서 악명 높았던(?) 101호 후기들을 보았고 역시나 들어가니 빛도 들어오지 않고 하수구 냄새가 진동을 하였습니다. 여기에 3일을 투숙하긴 싫어서 101호에 대한 다른 블로그 글들을 보여주며 방을 바꿔달라고 말했습니다. 처음에는 아까 봤던 복층방만 가능하다고 했다가 1분만에 그방도 방금 예약이 들어와서 없으니 그냥 그방에 머물라는 안내를 받았습니다. 노란옷을 입고 있던 데스크 직원 2명은 아무런 조치를 취해주지 않았고 계속 기다리라는 말만 반복했습니다. 그러더니 지하실에서 문제가 있어 냄새가 올라오는 것 같다고 말하며 청소 직원을 보냈는데, 방향제 스프레이를 하나 가져와서 뿌려주고는 나가더군요. 저희는 짐도 풀지 않고 계속 기다리고 있는데 아무런 대응을 해주지 않고 무려 2시간이 흘렀고, 너무 화가 나서 매니저를 불렀습니다. 매니저에게 상황을 설명했고 결국 그 옆 100호인가에서 하루를 자고 다음날 방을 바꿔주겠다는 안내를 받아 방을 옮겼습니다. 다음날 결국 원래 예약했던 타입의 방으로 옮겨서 이틀을 투숙했지만 세면대가 막혀 물이 내려가지 않고 역시나 하수구 냄새가 심하게 역류했습니다. 조식도 부실했고 서비스(체크인데스크)는 정말 최악, 위치도 애매하여 트라이시클을 항상 타고 타운으로 나갔습니다. 엘니도에 깨끗한 호텔이 적지만 수영장 사진만 보고 예약을 했다가 오버부킹에 당해 첫날을 완전 망쳐버린 기대 이하의 호텔이었습니다.

And as we have discussed, the Hotel wasnt overbooked, we are only trying to make your stay more pleasurable by upgrading your room that your have refused. Its just sad that when you have changed your mind, the room upgrade has been extended with other guests and you have to stay on your original booking which is the Deluxe Room. Furthermore, we would still wish that we will be able to welcome you back at the Hotel again on your next visit to El Nido.

처음으로 가본 필리핀여행이라 잘 몰라서 문의도 많이했는데 웃으면서 친절하게 알려주어서 너무 기억에 남는 여행이였습니다 수영장도 매우 쾌적하고 마지막 가는날 조식시간보다 삼십분일찍 조식을 먹을수있게 오픈해주어서 최고의 서비스를 받은 기분이였습니다.

The room space was a bit tight, but I will say the staff are all very kind! The cleaning service is awesome - they place everything back to where it was and evident they clean. I will say though that this property is equivalent to a traditional western style hotel without any additional “bells”. I would not say this is luxury. Just comfortable. The main reason though to pick this is the location and walkability. Quick walk to the canopy walk, meeting destination for boat tours, restaurants, grocery store, and a quick tricycle to maremegmeg beach! Location for us was spot on and Made everything easier when traveling with a large group (we were 6-no kids). Food breakfast was subpar. Although there was food warmers the food was cold. We also booked 1 full private beach day(Nacpan/lio/maremegmeg) and a private round trip transfer to Puerto Princesa. No complaints — were both smooth!

During our 4 nights stay, the room hasn't been cleaned. We had to ask on our last day to change bedsheets and towels. Very bad smell all over the property. Mould smell in the room. Staff not really welcoming, the only two nice and friendly persons were the receptionists. Nice location but it needs improvements regarding cleanliness, from the windows, the lift, the doors, to all communal areas.

Hôtel is much better in pictures than in reallity, lobby , breakfast and pool are perfect, 5 minutes walk to to town. Now the room are dated, and the damp smell is awfull. We had few rooms on different floors and all had the same issue. . Been traveling to Asia for a long time and this is the first time it happen. I would understood that issue in a cheaper hotel but from the rates they are charging it’s unacceptable. When back in el nido will book somewhere else

For the nightly rate paid, would expect a free capuccino like I got in Manila. Pool is good, bed not as comfy and constant motorcycle noise so helps to being earplugs. BBQ was abut of a rip off where askinf us to pre purchas a ticket for very minimal value of picking off pretty uch the restaurant menu and paying the difference. Plumbing also smelt bad in last two days.

All the staff was great from the front desk, restaurant, housekeeping, pool staff, everyone was so nice and helpful! Our room was nice and spacious! The AC worked great!

Unfortunately, our experience at this hotel was not enjoyable despite the staff's efforts to find solutions for us. Upon arrival, we were assigned room 507, which had water damage and excessive humidity (making it difficult to breathe). Regrettably, we had no choice but to stay in this room as the hotel was fully booked. The next day, we moved to room 211, which was also humid and had a water issue (yellow water with a terrible odor). My daughter suffered skin burns after taking a shower. This problem was resolved after two and a half days (we were unable to shower and had to use the pool shower). Additionally, they refused financial compensation, claiming they changed our room on the first night. We were very disappointed with the slow response, the incompetence of the maintenance technician, and the lack of communication with management. Hotels.com attempted to help, but unfortunately, we faced obstacles. The hotel has humidity problems, and our view is of a shanty town (on the back side). Furthermore, the room is tiny and not suitable for four people; it has two single beds instead of two double beds. The toilet is small and lacks towels, as does the shower. They provided a dehumidifier to reduce humidity, but unfortunately, it was quite noisy, so we had to turn it off. The breakfast was mediocre, with limited food options available.

sehr schönes Hotel zentral aber doch luftig gelegen. Sehr freundlich leckeres Frühstück toller Rooftop Pool. Zimmer sehr sauber und ausreichend von der grösse. lediglich die Duschlabine könnte etwas grösser sein.

J'ai séjourné pendant 3 nuits dans cet hôtel. De prime abord, c'est un bel hôtel. Belle façade, beau lobby, superbe piscine, beau restaurant. Une fois dans la chambre, c'est différent. J'avais la chambre 503 "deluxe" qui a une vue sur les voisins. Points à améliorer : cette chambre a besoin de renovations et de voilage pour avoir un peu d'intimité. C'est assez sombre de ce côté de l'hotel et je devais garder les rideaux fermés pour ne pas que les voisins me voient. J'avais lu certains commentaires qui faisaient états de moisissures et, effectivement il y a de la moisissure dans la chambre. Je voyage souvent seule et c'est la première fois que je n'ai qu'une seule serviette. Il est de coutume de mettre 2 serviettes, même s'il n'y a qu'un seul occupant dans la chambre, visiblement au Lagun, non. Il n'y avait pas non plus de serviette pour les mains, ni même de savon pour se laver les mains, pas de place pour faire secher sa serviette, pas de bouteille d'eau offerte (contrairement à ce qui est écrit sur votre site), pourtant j'ai vu des bouteilles d'eau sur le chariot d'entretien... C'est l'hôtel qui m'a coûté le plus cher durant mon séjour aux Philippines et c'est le moins bien. Points positifs : toutes les personnes qui y travaillent sont souriantes, aimables, professionnelles. Le restaurant est bon.

The property stands out in terms of aesthetic. It’s really pretty from the outside and prettier when you see the interior. It’s very modern yet you will feel at home because of the furniture made of local materials. The staff is exceptional. Bambi and Richmond made our stay unforgettable. They were very accommodating and very friendly. They made sure we’re comfortable during our stay. I will definitely go back.

Great hotel in terms of location and staff. The room was spacious for 5 people. However, the room especially the shower is not super clean. If you are a clean freak I would be weary. But if you’re okay with convenience and closeness to the town I would stay here.

Lagun Hotel exceeded our expectations. We had read some negative online reviews and were concerned about smell, mould etc based on those reviews. I contacted the hotel prior to arriving to seek assurance prior problems were resolved. On arrival we were pleased to enjoy a modern, clean and fresh hotel and room. Its location is good. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was good. Also helped book fantastic boat tours. Only negative was they dont supply drinking water for the rooms - have to go out and buy it. Overall was better than we expected.

Boa localização e hotel confortável. Porém o andar superior com duas camas de solteiro tem o teto muito baixo, impossibilitando seu uso. Além disso tive que pedir 3 vezes a colocação da cama extra, sendo que o atendimento estava bem ruim em razão da alta demanda no período de ano novo. O valor da diária cobrada estava alto também. Piscina com água gelada. Relação custo-benefício apenas razoável.
