The staff was nice and helpful when I needed it but the room looked like it hadn't been cleaned past changing the sheets and towels. The floors left our feet and sock black, you could barely see in the mirror, and we found a roach. We got sick after the 2nd day staying there.

This property was sold and therefore did not have our reservations, but since we had our paperwork with us, they honored our reservation price. This property is now One Life Studios. This property is also in the process of being renovated. There was no continental breakfast. Maid service is limited/or by request.

The room appeared clean but upon further inspection i discovered a hole in the wall behind the door, paint on the bathroom floor, tub wasn't cleaned, didn't appear to be vacuumed, phone line was cut, found a pair of glasses from whomever stayed before me. I will not be back. I told front desk about what was found and didn't even get an I'm sorry nor was i offered a discount of any kind.

They advertised breakfast and didn’t have it. The first room was nasty but the guy had no problem giving me another. The bed sheets were filthy.

Roach motel
This place should be condemned!! My husband and son went for a quick overnite, as they were checking our University of Evansville for a baseball camp. We are from the suburbs of Chicago so it was a long drive. My husband killed 2 cockroaches, hotels.com was notified and did nothing and the econo lodge did nothing !!! If I would have been there I would have taken the cockroaches to the front desk!!! Disgusting do not recommend

Please do not recommend this hotel. I chose it based on your website recommendation. The air vent in bathroom was hanging down with a piece on the counter. The toilet paper holder was broken, the towel had hair on it obviously not washed. There was a hole in the wall next to the bed and i saw bugs that appeared to be baby roaches in the bathroom. There was a drunk giy walking around at night it appears that this is a residence for some since there were decorations in the room windows. The only thing good was the staff. I checked out early and stayed somewhere else. How do I get a refund?

Get what you pay for!
Not very clean. Definitely no frills just basic. Old and run down-nothing done to upgrade or maintain. Even though it's advertised as non smoking, my room reeked of cigarette smoke. Mirror and sink dirty.

Horrific econo lodge experience
This hotel was NOT as it appeared in the pictures. Did NOT receive a first floor room, for my handicapped mother, even though we booked 6 days prior! The ceiling was falling in… microwave was rusty…. Several holes in the wall… mouse droppings in the drawers of the dresser… and the whole room REEKED of urine. We couldn’t stay there at all

Disgusting is the nice way to describe the hotel
Hotel walls were bowed inward and cracking in multiple spots. There was mold on the walls behind the end tables and bathtubs. Drywall was chipped away in multiple spots around corners. Floors were filthy - to the point where a walk from the shower to the bedroom turned your feet black with dirt and we had to wear shoes indoors for the remainder of the stay. While it boasts being a smoke free room, the comforter has cigarette burns in several spots. Microwave was missing the turn plate. The only clean things in the room were the sheets and towels. This hotel also does not actually have a working pool, or breakfast. I would highly not recommend staying there.

Not much to like it was under construction the rooms where dingy and just did not look clean plus the pool was closed and when checking in the clerk made a remark about the water bill thats not what i paid for but what was i to do plus the rooms were not handycap assable

The smell in the room is awful, the bathtub was disgusting. The owner beat on my door accusing me of having someone in my room that’s banned from the property. The person they accused was my husband, I had to let them in my room to prove. The door would not properly shut, not a good part of town. To many people active outside your door making it hard to rest.

DIRTY NASTY SCUMBAG OF A HOTEL!!!
It was so nasty the tub was disgusting and it was so filthy it we was at local hospital most of the day when we went to check in they made me pay a 50$ deposit on top of what i paid to reserve the room my skin crawled then i went n we got our stuff back in our vehicle went to check out (fully knowing i would lose the 60 i paid to rent the room) i had told the lady all i cared about was my deposut that i wasn't staying with my family in that room she went to do a check of the room n came back n said it was cleanest she'd ever seen it then continued to ask me if she could stay in it after my check out BLEW MY MIND

Filthy Crack Head Hotel
Drains did not drain, cracks in the ceiling, mold in every corner of the tub, dirty mirrors, wet carpet, broken safety lock, broken fridge door, no battery cover for remote, empty pool, rusted microwave. Horrible place!!!

Dated but adequate.
The motel was dated everything worked. I did have to struggle with the air conditioner which was quite noisy until I found a setting that worked better. We did have a restful night.

The bed was very clean, comfortable and amazing pillows. It is an older hotel, so the bathroom was a little dingy. It seems as if several of the occupants live there so there was more traffic outside our room than i preferred. And drama being dealt with by the front desk attendant between the permanent residents. We stayed because the bed was clean and comfortable and thats ultimately all i care about, but i wont be booking there again.

Don't ever stay here
My time from the moment I got there was terrible. Police arrive as I was trying to check in. Then When given a key went to room could not get door to open finally it did , by a nearly naked man. I said sorry this is the room I was told to check into. He said you can check in with me, then made inappropriate body gestures. Had to wait on clerk to come back from dealing with police. Finally after a long wait I get a room. To find out they have a $100 deposit that had to be paid up front. By the time I got all this done I did not have time for my shower before heading off to a meeting. I came back to the hotel to I had to go up a staircase and people smoking outside my room. So I take a hot bath as I had to leave a 4:15 am. The tub was so slimy in the bottom. Then I try to go to sleep and the music in the parking lot was so loud I finally called the front desk to be told that they can play loudly until curfew at 2 am. Now the worst. My alarm goes off and what do I see but roaches all over my phone and table by the bed. I took several pictures found many more. Some inside my computer laptop and my shoes. I called today but no one would answer the phone. To tell them about the bug issue.

When we arrived the front desk (couple) were discussing money and who owed what. They were cursing. They were not professional with their greeting or check in process. The overall condition of the property was dirty and poor. The rooms had stuff on the wall, mirrors were streaky and smudges, wood floors were warped, and the duvet covers had burn marks in them. Thankfully i was only there to sleep because this was the worst place i have stayed in.

Ehhhhh Not Going Back
Check in was super super slow. I was told the place was non-smoking only (which I was happy about) but my room smelled like pot and there were burn marks all over the bathroom. Toilet was clogged within an hour. There was hair on the bathroom counter. The white blanket on the bed (underneath the top blanket) was stained with something blue and something red/brown. The outside was kind of run down. I just stopped in for a shower and a couple of hours to rest in the middle of a trip. Got a pretty dirty look for checking out so soon. Also I booked a King bed but all they had was 2 double beds. If I was planning on staying more than a few hours I would have asked for a refund and went somewhere else.
