Hotel with local nuiance
Stayed for 5 days last week. The location is quite good,5-15 walk minutes away from many attractions. The gaden between buildings are very fresh and healing. Breakfast menu is OK but have room to improve. Staffs are kind and cooperative.

저는 아주 좋았는데 일행은 별로 좋아하지 않았어요. 깨끗한 이미지 보다는 굉장히 엔틱하고 분위기 있는 편이고 엄청 오래된 호텔이라고 하기에는 화장실은 리모델링을 하신건지 아주 깨끗했으나 객실에 라지에이터가 조금 지저분했어요. 우련히 열었는데 ... 필터청소를 좀 했으면 합니다. 이불이 좀 푹신했으면 좋았겟다는 생각도 드네요. 조식은 단순하나 맛있었어요 ㅎ 하몽굿 !! 엄청 무거운 캐리어 두개였는데 방까지 다 들어다 주시고 그건 정말 감동 ㅠ 진짜무거웠거든요... 위치적으로 아주 좋았어요. 남자직원들은 아주아주 친절해요.여자직원들은 시크합니다.;;;;;

예술작품을 좋아하는 여행객에게 추천하고 싶은 호텔
호텔 이름에 맞게 모나리자 그림이 여기저기 걸려있는 모습을 볼 수 있다. 객실에도 작품이 걸려있어 참 좋았고 전체적으로 작은 전시회를 보는 기분이 들어 좋았다. 굳이 단점을 꼽자면, 프론트에 있는 직원분에게 질문을 여러개 하니 금새 표정이 안좋아지고 대놓고 한숨을 쉬어서 조금 불쾌하긴 했다.

Very beautiful hotel. I loved the garden area, same as the pictures! Staff was very nice especially Laura which is very helpful and friendly! The hotel is not far from restaurant and the chapel.

We loved everything about this hotel. The hotel itself is beautiful, all of the staff is incredibly friendly and the location is perfect. We stayed in 3 hotels throughout our trip and this was our favorite!

Beautiful palazzo very elegant setting. A little dated but still lovely. Breakfast is great but no restaurant at dinner time. Walk to great restaurants in five minutes. Reasonable price for such a lovely property

We had a wonderful stay at the Monna Lisa. Staff was extremely cordial, helpful and professional. The hotel itself is absolutely gorgeous, and the location is perfect. The breakfast was superb and the kitchen staff were awesome too. All in all, a great experience; highly recommended!!!

This was a perfect hotel during a road trip thru Europe. Picked the hotel due for its magnificent decor and history. Staff is very attentive to our needs and assisted us for reservations to museums and restaurants during our 3 day 2 night stay. Excellent location near to all major POI. Public parking less than 2 minutes walk.

$210 Extra MONEY REQUESTED AT SITE
Was charged a extra $210 a night when we arrived at the hotel and was not budgeted for and this extremely affected our trip. We had no other choice, but to pay the money we had nowhere else to go, and everything else was budgeted. They said this was due to it, being an extra person in the room, myself, and my daughter, which was stated on the reservation. They stated this was due to her insurance reasons, and that me and my daughter were not able to share the space without it being the extra fee.

Properly is very beautiful and the staff ver friendly. We upgraded to a second floor room with a balcony overlooking their garden which was lovely. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast was excellent.

Great location to main monuments. Lots of great restaurants. Hotel lovely. Staff very helpful. Superior room very comfortable. Breakfast continental hot breakfast limited.

The Hotel Mona Lisa exceeded our expectations in every way possible. The staff incredibly helpful, kind and professional. The hotel and grounds were exquisite steeped in history and maintained beautifully. It was a surreal experience to stay in a hotel with incredible history and elegance. This property surrounds multiple gardens and is located in Florence away from the maddening crowds. One can walk to the most popular attractions within minutes. Hotel Staff was extremely helpful in securring a taxi at 5:00 AM to the airport. Unfortunately, due to our brief stay, we were unable to enjoy the hotel's breakfast buffet and gardens during daylight hours. A tragically short stay at a classy hotel.

The peaceful garden for escaping from the hub-bub of Florence was an absolute delight. The breakfast spread was absolutely exceptional. Sadly, no restaurant.

In general everything was good, the hotel manager was very attentive to everything, the two Sri Lankans gentlemen in the restaurant were very helpful and attentive and the Italians at the bar were wonderful with their margaritas and Ciak's spectacular harp concert

Initially we were on a room we did not like but later they moved us to another room which we liked. The staff is very friendly and they are accommodating when you ask them for something. Ramid at the breakfast serving area was very nice and provided great service to us. Thank you!

Horrible place to stay. The triple-bed room was next to the lobby and kitchen. A lot of noise throughout the night. Breakfast is just okay. A lot of dead bugs on the bathroom floor.

My daughter and I stayed here and absolutely loved it. The hotel has a very classic charm with a beautiful garden. We were greeted upon entry and shown around the property, then to our room. We loved the history of the place and the authentic Italian charm. Our room was spacious and quiet with comfortable beds. There were plenty of toiletries. They did a turn down service in the evenings and put a little chocolate on our beds, along with a stepping mat and house slippers next to the bed. For breakfast there is a very nice buffet breakfast that had so many options and the staff is very kind and attentive. My daughter and I were so sad to leave when it was time to check out. We absorb loved our time staying at the Monna Lisa hotel. If you are looking for an authentic Italian feel for your stay, this is the place for you.

The Monna Lisa Hotel is a charming, historic, haven situated within the historic district of Firenze. The staff were helpful and very friendly. The bar and garden was laid back and just what is needed after a day walking among the many historic sites. The daily breakfast, which was included in the bill, had many options and was provided by friendly staff in a beautiful setting. Our family loved it and will return!!

Charming old Monastery converted into a Hotel. Great garden setting for lounging in peace with a drink. Good breakfast. Friendly staff. Excellent location. No Pool, no restaurant, although Expedia mentioned something like that in error, I think. Anyway, local dining had more international options in case you get tired of the typical trattoria menu.

The property is beautiful and well kept. The staff is friendly and professional. We got complimentary slippers and each day that the room was made, the staff left chocoloates on our pillows an two bottles of water. The breakfast in the morning is super complete with eggs, bacon, a variety of breads, pastries and desserts, ham, cheese, and ceral, along with juices. The staff will bring you coffee or tea according to your request. I had a capucchino every morning! In the evening, we sat outside on the courtyard and enjoyed a couple of spritz. The hotel is situated close enough to tourist attractions an great restaurants so that you could walk, but you can easily have the hotel call you a taxi is you prefer. Keep in mind that this is a multi0-building property and some of the rooms may not have access to an elevator, so make sure you ask if you cannot handle stairs.

I can’t find the words to describe the charm of this magical hotel. It’s tucked away on a narrow street very close to the main shops and attractions of historic Florence. When you first enter, you see a beautiful open area with painted ceilings, which opens up to a spacious lobby area, which leads to an open garden courtyard. Seriously you won’t believe this garden! You are just meters from the bustling city, but it’s so quiet and peaceful. Our room even had a balcony overlooking the garden. If you are trying to find a boutique hotel that looks and feels exactly the way you think Florence looks from tv and movies, this is the one you want! We chose it because it had a really low price on Expedia, and we were a little worried about what it would be like since it was listed at a lower price compared to others on the site, so we really couldn’t believe our luck when we arrived and saw this place. It is exactly what we wanted. And the breakfast - other reviewers have written about how great it is. It is even better than you can imagine. A buffet of pastries, breads, cakes, eggs, meats, cheeses, cereal, yogurt, juices, amazing coffee, served in the garden patio by friendly staff. In the evenings there is a bar that will serve you drinks and snacks in the garden. We would definitely stay here again.

Centrally located gem in Florence
We had a very pleasant stay at the Hotel Monna Lisa.It is a centrally located oasis in Firenze. The decor is amazing especially in the wonderful garden area. We were lucky enough to get one of the rooms with private balcony and it was very well-appointed and comfortable. It was such a joy to return to a quiet cool beautiful space after being in the hectic summertime in the city.

The front desk staff were not overly helpful for reservations and answering questions. The bar wait staff were very good. Friendly and attentive. Room was nicely sized and had all amenities Location was very convenient to the hotspots in Florence
