I booked for Rhapsody becuase it was highly praised for the stunning view from the rooms. So, I booked for "ocean view" room even it cost extra more. However, I was given the room on second floor which gave me more of a street view than an ocean view. I was told that Rhapsody is very popular so all the other higher floors are already full and I should have made a special request about high level.
I decided to let it pass because there was a great view at the rooftop terrace and guest lounge.
But there was something that could never be passed. The toilets were both not clean. One was blocked with tissues and the other one had stains whcih was erased when cleaning staff brushed and flushed. Cleaning staff came right away and he cleaned really hard and he took photos to show the staff at the front desk. The front desk staff came up to the room and suggested room exchange to higher floor the next day without room exchange fee saying it will be complimentary.
The bathrooms on the higher level room were clean. However, in the main bathroom, little insects kept on appearing and washing machine was dirty with black molds and water on and between the rim of the rubber packing. Besides toilet probelem, facilities and utensils in room on second floor was in better condition probably due to less occupancy.
Rhapsody does have a stunning view, if you stay on high level or visit the rooftop terrace.
The staffs are helpful and they do try to meet your requests.
