Satisfactory stay, would come again!
It’s my second time staying at this establishment, and I’ve been happy with both experiences. The hosts are friendly and easy to reach. The rooms and beds are as advertised. Bed was comfortable and clean. There are shared bathrooms and kitchen. The guest house is conveniently located in Koreatown and close to the freeway (if you drive; plus you can pay for gated parking for $5/night or street park for free) and close to bus stop. The place is certainly an economical option but I got my money’s worth. I’d recommend if you’re looking for a place that’s affordable and if you’re not high maintenance.

The bathroom window didn’t have a curtain felt really exposed. Too many specific rules. Weird how the host didn’t give us a key to the room instead said lock it we will unlock it when you come back. It was just a weird uncomfortable vibe. We just stayed for a night and barely spent time in the place would not recommend for longer stays. The blanket was also kind of itchy.

I had no issues! The lady who runs it was great and everyone kept to themselves for the most part. There were some hairs on my bed (looked like the lady who runs it, so prob from making the bed), which was yucky but other than that it was very clean and a great experience!

The owners were really nice and accomodating!! They went beyond what they needed to do. I would definitely come back here. The vibe was homey.

Home-like and friendly stay
Bring cash when checking in! The hostel was as cozy as one can get from a hostel. The rooms are spacious but can get a bit warm at night if all of the windows aren’t open, a fan is provided in the room. The best part of the hostel is that everything is cleaned every day which was very comforting. The hostel itself is located in a central location so the beach and downtown are both a 15 minute drive away. The owners are also very accommodating, I had to stay an extra day and they managed to find room for me which I really appreciated.

I got a bed here just to sleep in so I was not there during the day. I would leave early as well so this review is only about the night time. The rooms were cozy no ac but I didn’t feel hot or anything. The host greeted me late night and showed me around. There is a kitchen patio and fridge u can use. He offered towels and blankets too. At night it’s pretty quiet u can hear the cars passing since the house is on a Main Street but that’s about all u hear at night. It’s ok for a hostel I didn’t have any issues during my stay there

部屋は2人部屋でサイズはちょうど良いくらい。大きな鏡があったのは個人的に凄くありがたかった。ドライヤーが何個もあったり、Wi-fiの速度が早くて助かった。確かにルールは少々細かいが、そこまで厳しいものではないかなと感じた。朝になると部屋に暖房が入り、朝にシャワーを浴びると暑いかなと感じる程度。特に気になる点は私の視点からはなかった。

It’s not a hotel it’s a house we’re they make u share room with 4 people, no tv, no WiFi, no privacy. The owner of property cursed me out in his native Korean language then he asked me to leave without refund. I will not recommend any one this house. All good reviews are fake I saw owner son and daughters writing fake reviews on google

Hi, my name is Michael and I'm the son of the owners. I just happen to be in town at the moment so I'm helping my parents respond to some of these reviews as their English is not fluent. - Firstly, although our listing is under the "Hotels" section of Expedia, it's written in the "About this property" section that we are a guesthouse. - All of our listings are designated as 'shared' rooms so it's possible if you are a lone traveler that you will be sharing the room with strangers. - We do provide free WiFi and we have a TV in the common living room so that is a lie. - Whether the owner was cursing in Korean, I can't be sure as I was not here, but I was told that this guest from about 10:30pm was being loud and disturbing the other guests so he received a warning. Unless the guest understands Korean, this is a groundless accusation. Ultimately, he did receive a refund as he was being difficult and disturbing the other guests. - As the son of the owners, I can say that I have not written a single review for any of their listings. This is an outright lie as I, nor my sisters were present during this guest's stay so it would have been impossible for him to 'see' us do so.

Hi, sorry for the misunderstanding but all our rooms/beds are shared and none do not have in-room bathrooms. The first floor and second floor bathrooms are shared between all guests. The first floor bathroom has a bathtub and the second floor bathroom has a standing shower only. We ask all guests to limit their bathroom use in the mornings to 10 minutes in consideration for all other guests. For all potential future guests, please keep this in mind. Wonderful place for reasonable price
The host was so nice, perhaps the nicest host I’ve ever met in the Hotels.com. He made every effort to provide a comfortable environment. The location was so great that it was so easy for me to go to the major sites in LA.

I1m sorry. Because I clean every day,in some cases I move a room.All rooms are shared by many people, so the facilities are similar. Sorry for the inconvenience though.The air conditioning problem is that my house an old house,so the sound is at dawn,which an damage other rooms.If you still want it,don`t turn it off.Please tell me when you come next.I will take care of it more.

total disaster
My stay was cancelled unitlaterally by this venue without adequate notice. I was traveling all day. They claimed to have an issue with my credit card (used everyday during this trip) and sent an email to expedia - with whom I did not book. They didin’t bother to contact me directly in spite of having both email and cell phone. After I showed up, they told me that they tried to contact me, then sent me the emails informing me that they had cancelled my reservation. People should know that this is a private residence set up as a boarding facility, and was not especially clean or accommodating, although they did allow me to utilize their WiFi in order to assist my finding another booking on no notice. Cost me over 3 times this booking to find a room that night.
