We stayed there for three nights to explore Big Cypress Preserve and the Everglades. The reception building was nice and clean. There was an offer to pick up coffee there in the morning, but this was just by chance. The time when staff was at the reception was unpredictable as well. We had a room with key cards, which seldomly worked. We could not get into our room in the evening, nobody was at the reception and the telephone number to call staff in such a case was not answered. Another hotel guest helped us with another, unofficial number, which worked. After waiting for 45 minutes, finally somebody showed up to help us. The rooms were old, furniture, bed linen and facilities were aged, but all was clean and worked. There was no service for the rooms (bathroom and floor cleaning, fresh towels, etc.). The pool area was nice, a big pool, but some guests were complaining to us that it was not well serviced. While there was a seemingly big parking lot there was not enough space especially at night. At this time of the year the hotel did no seem to even be fully occupied. Overall: we don’t recommend and won’t go back.

All the staff we encounter provided exceptional customer service. The property was very clean. The room was extremely spaces. The bed was comfortable and just the whole environment and vibe. There was amazing. My husband and I will definitely be returning.

Nos han atendido por telefono. No habia nadie en la recepcion. Nos han cobrado 16,49 USD de resort fee en lugar de los 8,88 USD que nos habian indicado ustedes en la reserva. El hotel nos ha confirmado que nos tienen que devolver ustedes la diferencia. Espero que subsanen este error a la mayor brevedad. Gracias y un saludo

Saubere Unterkunft in den Everglades. Hatten das Standardzimmer und es war relativ groß und das Badezimmer war super. Hotelanlage super, vorallem der Pool. Direkt am Wasser und zu den Aurboottouren sind es nur 8min mit Auto. Für einen Roudtrip und/oder Naturfreunden perfekt bzw ok .

Not a resort by far. Staff not friendly smoking in areas where there should be no smoking. Signs are posted but not unforced. Had a room that overlooks the marina however huge truck right in front of my patio blocking the view of the marina(tow away sign right in front of my patio/porch) totally ignored Front Taft said “they” not to park there but people do it all the time. Mice feces on my screened in patio porch. No house keeping…. Not sure if section 8 resides there all year but seemed like it. Apparently disgruntled employee went on a shooting rampage. My heart goes out to the staff and those families that were affected to understanding a new owner had taken over. I really hope that the new owner could put together the staff and bring this resort back to what it should be. Really a shame not what was expecting since listed as a “resort” A Super 8 or Comfort Inn at best (but on a low scale) they did offer breakfast, which was just horrendous. Resturant had an odor to it. No air conditioning in the building was being fixed. Just horrible there is athey did offer breakfast, which was just horrendous. Resturant had a odor to it. Very nice ship store and boating education center at the marina. The area and locals fishing docks were very very nice local DEC we’re doing their jobs!

The setting of Port of Everglades Adventure Resort is beautiful, including a huge pool with lounge chairs and the marina just outside our door! It was an extra surprise to have a light breakfast included. We did have an issue with our room but it was quickly resolved. We would not hesitate to stay again when in the area.

Best priced lodging in this general area. Feels like this property is just a little past its prime: room was a bit dark (not enough windows); key/door lock doesn't work right.

The landscaping and outdoor spaces are beautiful. We waited a little while for someone to come to the front desk to check us in. He did check first to make sure our room was clean, which I appreciated. We didn't use the pool or restaurant.The furniture, bedspread and towels were worn, but everything was clean. It's a 20 - 30 minute drive to any town for activities or food.OK stay for the short time we were there.

we arrived to check in after 5 and room was not ready. staff shortages, pissants in room, tv was not active and when we brought to attention we were told they would check on this while we were gone for the day. This never happened. Friendly tiki bar. Not a terrible place but needs work.

Under new ownership so things are a bit confusing for people! Had problem finding room, trouble getting into room and then AC wasn’t working! Had to get Manager who was able to fix it!! Restaurant food just so so!! Room a bit high for what we got!

this place is the most disgusting place I never seen in my life…. The mold smell it’s so strong, the room is dirty, n refund due to their nasty rooms. they just take your money and run. DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE in the middle of nowhere with no restaurant or amenities around. The guy on the front was very friendly but he didn’t have no authority to make refunds.

Cute property-unique and not your average cookie-cutter hotel. Breakfast was good. We only stayed one night, so didn’t use the other facilities.

Kitchen facilities as fridge, freezer are filthy, reception do not satisfies your expectations. Insecure if he kept information about your card. Hard to find accommodations/rooms as the resort has no signs.

This property is a love/hate relationship. The location is peaceful and scenic. The staff couldn't be nicer or more helpful. The efficiency unit was a good size with a nice kitchenet and a nice screen porch. Also a beautiful pool. Unfortunately, it needs to be refreshed starting with the mattress and all the linens and towels.

Nice place but in need of refurbishment
Ugly outdated bathroom and kitchen. Old furniture. Damaged mosquito net protection. Everything clean but really past and tired.

Not for me.
Unfortunately they couldn’t locate me in the system. After an hour and a half of waiting at the lobby for this to get resolved, it didn’t. So I ended up having to pay more than what the hotels.com app had for me plus my tv in the room didn’t work. All around it was a frustrating experience.

Es werden 10 Dollar Resort fee beim Check-in verlangt, die nirgends angegeben sind. Der Zimmerschlüssel ist ein 10-Stelliger Code der beim betreten und verlassen eingetippt werden muss und das Schloss/Türe klemmt. Alles in allem sehr alt und abgewohnt. Keine Einkaufsmöglichkeiten oder nennenswerte Restaurants….

Die Rezeption ist erst einmal nicht ausgeschildert. Wir mussten uns erst einmal durchfragen. Das Zimmer ist groß, aber die Möbel sind alt und abgewohnt. Im Badezimmer lagen 40cm lange Haare rum. Ein “frisches” Handtuch war total dreckig. Die Dusche ist einfach nur furchtbar. TV Fernbedienung funktionierte nicht richtig. Das Schliesssystem an der Tür ist grauenhaft. Der Pool ist aber toll.
