“깨끗하고 편했어요 4명 이용하기 좋은데 캐리어 놓을 곳이 없어요 조식은 뷔페식이 아니구요 주문하면 토스트나 파스타에 핫초코 나오던데 간단히 먹을만 했어요 비행기 새벽도착이라 1박 했는데 만족스러웠네요”

“It was OK since it is situated downtown so an advantage of being able to walk around the area is good. Nearby restaurants can be found once you step out of the door. Accommodations price is affordable just expect the least amount of comfort in your hostel room. The common area can be at 31deg during the daytime, wall fans are available though but working with a laptop computer could be very uncomfortable. Shower and Toilet rooms need a lot of improvements. Rats can be seen running around. ”

“Mad Monkey is a unique and enjoyable experience in Cebu City. It offers a pool, bar, recreation area, and generally a very social vibe that's great for meeting people. “Staff was friendly and always helpful. Internet connection was top notch. Room was clean and bathrooms and showers were always available. The only con from this property was poor water pressure. Toilets weren't always flushing and shower pressure was mediocre. Staff was notified and always attempted to fix the issue.”

“The rooms are quite small but have a fan and an A/C and the bed is comfortable. The bathrooms are clean. I wouldn’t say it’s a social hostel but to relax and have a it of time for yourself it’s great. The owners are great: friendly and helpful. Great location, close to restaurants, cafes and the big mall. I really enjoyed my stay here and would come again!”

“This hostel has a good location. It is located in the entertainment district in Malate, but I was not bothered by noise from these venues, nor did I in any way feel unsafe when walking in the area during the day or early evening. The hostel has a good Wifi service and I found the staff to be friendly. I am certain I will stay at this hostel again in the future.”
