I've stayed here before and only came back because of affordability, breakfast, and good hot water.
This time however when I called to see what price it was to book directly they tried to charge me double while lying that booking was high and there was one room left. I knew this hotel has been under new management and construction and is not booked.
Again there were long black hairs in the tub and in the floor but at least the bedding was clean.
The remote didn't work and when I called 0 from the room an Indian woman told me there was no room service. I said I only wanted a remote for the TV. She said she'd send someone but she didn't.
I was happy for the good hot water despite the humorously shabby condition of the room (holes in furniture, etc) but was terribly disappointed to see they'd discontinued their breakfast items such as eggs or biscuits and gravy. In fact they had absolutely nothing that a diabetic could eat. Zero protein. Only breads and cereal.
Before check out time the house keeper knocked once and opened the door when I was stepping out of the shower. No courtesy call to see if I was in the room.
There is no drinking water on the grounds, not even for sale, and the tap water smells of sulphur, so bring your own. The pool hasn't been open in years. The pictures online are from an age of the past.
The three stars is only for the hot water and clean sheets.
