최악에호텔 사마야
처음도착한방옆이 공사중으로 공사인부까지보이고 너무나시끄러유소음으로 우리커플은쉴수가없었다. 방을바꿔달라고하니 풀북이라며 비치쪽비싼방을얘기했고 1박에350불을 추가로요구하고 너희책임인데 내가왜비용을내냐고하니 1박당150불로깍더니 다시얘기하니 75불 택시흥정하듯 질떨어지는 응대로 3시간을 대기하고 풀북이라고없다더니 그나마 공사현장이 덜보이는 방으로 다른직원이오더니 교체해주었다.또한 나는 코트야드빌라에묵었으나 호텔메인단지에있는게아니라 별채처럼 도로길을건너 전혀다른곳 으슥한골목길을지나야 나온다 펜션같다. 어떠한제대로된사과도 베네핏도없었다. 조식은 1인당2메뉴로 정해저있었고 음료도정해저있었다. 너무불편했고 내가먼저음료를주문했는데도 불구하고 나는1시간만에 서버를받았고 옆테이블서양인은 그시간동안 4가지음료서스를 서버받았다. 나는얘기해도 기다리라고만했다 최악에 호텔.다시는가고싶지않은 발리가되었다. 서비스도 품질이떨어진다. 청소역시 프로답지못하다

도보로 이동가능한 스미냑 거리와 가깝고, 리조트내 밴으로 이동시 이용할수있어요. 근처에 유명한 비치클럽(포테이토헤드,쿠데타)등이있고, 호텔 내 메인 수영장도 비치를 바라보고 있어서 아주 좋습니다. 오후에 제공되는 에프터눈티 세트 역시 훌륭하고, 전체적인 음식들 역시 매우 훌륭합니다. 특급풀빌리와 소형/저렴한 풀빌라의 차이인것 같아요. 직원들 역시 매우 친절합니다. 풀빌라 내 풀도 커서 편하고 욕실공간이 따로 커서 편리합니다.

이 풀빌라는 완벽합니다. 참고로 저는 세이셸 반얀트리도 다녀왔는데, 반얀트리 못지 않게 시설이 뛰어납니다. 단지, 해안가에 위치하거나 하지 않아서 풀빌라에 앉아서 바닷가를 직접 조망할 수 없는 게 안타깝습니다. 하지만, 버기&버틀러 서비스는 완벽했습니다. 메인풀장이 두 개나 있어서 그 점도 맘에 들었고, 풀빌라 안의 수영장도 왔다갔다 할 정도로 크고 깊어서 하루종일 수영했습니다. 세미냑에 그렇게 많은 핫한 식당들도 모두 걸어서 5분~10분 안에 접근가능하고, 호텔 옆에 마사지샾도 너무 싸고 많고, 오베로이 방향으로 잡화시장도 있어서 저희 커플에게는 walking distance에 모든 것을 다 할 수 있어서 완벽했습니다!

신행으로 2박3일 묵었습니다. 도착하면 꽃으로된 목걸이(?) 같은거 걸어주더군요. 우선 청결은 매일 2번 정리하여 줍니다. 시간을 정할수 도 있고, 지정하면 그시간에 와서 정리하더군요. 외출하면 알아서 해주기도 합니다. 객실내에 있을때는 시간 정해서 말해주면 됩니다. 애프터눈티 꼭 챙겨드시구요 15:00~17:00 에 제공 됩니다. 풀장은 적당히 깊어서 다이빙도 가능합니다. 165cm 로 기억됩니다. 아침은 레스토랑에서 주문하면 만들어서 주는 타입입니다. 메뉴판에 있는거 말하면 됩니다. (제한없습니다.) 이동시 카트제공 되고, 좀 멀리떨어진곳은 차로 데려다 주기도 합니다. 빈땅슈퍼마켓 가려고 한번 탄적있습니다. 위치는 사마야 스퀘어에서 3분거리에 있어서 위치도 좋구요, 접근성도 아주 좋습니다. 직원들도 아주 친절하고 모든면에서 매우 만족했습니다. 그리고 냉장고안에 있는것은 무료로 제공되는것 입니다. (물,빈땅맥주,샴페인,쵸코렛,땅콩,음료수 ) 무료와이파이 당여히 제공됩니다. 식당은 두곳이 있는데 맛은 똑같은것 같습니다. 브리즈레스토랑이 유명한곳이라 브리즈에서 먹었습니다. 그곳이 바닷가도 보이고 참 좋더군요.

Perfect for romantic getaway
Probably one of the best places we have every stayed. Excellent service, and beautiful villas. This would be a perfect honeymoon stay. Smaller resort, romantic, and the villas are perfect and you get a lot for the price. Very private, but also close to excellent places to eat.

Gorgeous property with excellent staff and service. The 1bedroom villa was huge with a fantastic pool. Great hotel, would return.
Truly excellent hotel- the 1 bed villa with private pool was such a pleasant experience and exceeded our high expectations- both in size as well as facilities. The staff were universally friendly and genuine, the spa is excellent, the sunset view is beautiful, and the hotel is right next to, but nicely removed from the hubbub of Seminyak. In-resort food and drinks are fairly priced and great quality. Attention to detail is excellent. I cannot really pick a fault with his hotel. The standard is high- keep up the great work!

It’s hard to write this review as the Samaya is a gorgeous resort. Unfortunately the property has not been well maintained during covid. We stayed in the Royal Pavillion (top category) o the first day a piece of decking flipped up an cut my foot. The entire decking was unsafe. The staff are fabulous …. Would I stay again, yes if they replaced the decks as it’s a serious accident waiting to happen.

Perfect location, right at the beach front, close to so many shops. Villa was very spacious and kept clean. Really enjoyed in-villa private swimming pool, which was also big enough. Gym was little far and had to take a buggy to get there, a little inconvenience. Complimentary afternoon-tea was a good touch, but not worth taking time to visit. On the other hand, made-to-order breakfast was "must have". Good variety and very delicious. Accompanied eBicycle rental (separate company but located within) is also great add-on if you are not too keen on motorbike. Definite repeat hotel in Bali

i love this place. great hospitality, love how they give you all this amazing swag when you book a room. the breakfast and tea time is amazing! i love how its on the beach and they have yoga classes. They have the best eggs benedict, i have ever eaten. also love how the rooms are so lavish! i would recommend!

The Samaya is a beautiful property on the beach of Seminyak. Close enough to the touristy areas of Legian and Kuta by taxi, but far enough away to avoid the noise and crowds. We were welcomed by Angela, who was obviously a world traveler too. Her perspective really helped us make better choices on how we wanted to spend our time in the area. Everyone was very helpful and friendly at The Samaya. A nice man by the name of Yoga was always around to make sure we were happy. Yes, we were! The Samaya is a great choice with some shopping, restaurants, and street food down the street. They can often book a late checkout for a fee, which is wonderful. Bali can be hot and humid. A lot of flights leave Bali late at night, a dip in a plunge pool in the afternoon can be heaven as you wait for your flight. Once you enjoy a plunge pool in a hot location, you will never go without. I would recommend the 1 bedroom pool villa, as it is close to the beach and very large. It shouldn't go without saying, the included breakfast was really good. The breakfast consists of an a la carte menu that has traditional western and Balinese dishes that are prepared to order. There were plenty of items to satisfy even vegetarians. It was obvious they take pride in their Breeze Restaurant.

Prefer courtyard villa!
Stayed in both one bedroom pool villa & courtyard villa. Personally prefer courtyard though not in main complex. Pool villa-close to beach, clean and new towels. Complain, found a piece of tissure paper floating in the kettle, sticky thing at bottom of cups! : ( Courtyard villa-prefer its layout, bigger pool. Complain, towels are a bit old! We did enjoy afternoon tea, beaufiful sunset, grea breakfast, friendly staff.
