“What a little gem of a find. Absolutely beautiful cottage right in the woods and yet a 5 min drive to town. Jack is a wealth of knowledge and there is bird and possum feeding at certain times. There are beautiful parrots, a goose, chickens and a free range rabbit. Kids would love this place and there is a play area for the littlies. “Considerate stay, we were welcomed by clean and furnished stay with everything u need - clean sheets, clean toilet, the cottages provided extra pillows for my pregnant wife which I’m really pleased. My young children had so much fun with cockatoo and kangeroo spotting. We could hang out around the cottage with everything in one spot, cooking, juices, condiments provided when we forget ours. Really pleased with the stay”

“Rose Cottage had a small fridge but it was generously stocked for breakfast items for the 6 nights of our stay. Location is good. There was pet hair and pet odour on the sofa which we cleaned. The pillow protectors and pillows were stained and not very comfortable. Spa was good. Television was very small and not all channels could be received due to its age. “We just wanted a little place all to ourselves that felt warm and homely and this place did that for us. The log fire keeps the cottage toasty warm and the autumn leaves all around us was beautiful. The steps up can be slippery in the wet but that was to be expected with where the cottages were and with all the trees surrounding them. ”
