The rooms are a little bit dated now but VERY spacious and a great layout. "The Sir Stamford exudes the elegance of a bygone era. It was once a 5 star establishment however now the property is very very tired. I noticed that the site will be demolished in the not too distant future hence this is probably why it has not been refurbished. However in saying this the rooms are spacious and nice (even though tired) and the location is brilliant. The staff are also very helpful and courteous and friendly. I enjoyed my 4 night stay at Sir Stamford Circular Quay. "
