“We enjoyed every second of our stay. The location is very quiet, only about 15 minutes from the entrance to Wilpattu National Park. The villa and the entire property were in excellent and very well-maintained condition. The staff were consistently friendly, attentive, and helpful. This hotel deserves more than 5 stars. If you plan to visit Wilpattu National Park, this is the perfect place to stay.”

“The staff was amazing and made us feel so welcome during our two nights at Kay Jay wild. There is an entrance to wilpattu national park only 5 minutes drive away. The area where Kay jay wild is is just so beautiful”

“Room was very clean, had a little bit of a strange smell when we first arrived and the bathroom smelled a little bit like drainage. We opened the window in the washroom and kept the door locked so it wasn't a problem. Staff is lovely and has a nice dog as well! We did the Safari through the hotel and it was a great experience! Thank you 🙏 ”

“The staff were really friendly, amazing food and really gorgeous place. They took us on a wildlife tour where we saw otters and loris all on their grounds! There is not much in the local area so you need to keep this in mind if planning to visit a shop or restaurant during your stay, it’s not really possible ”

“I just stayed one night but was super well and kindly looked after by Christopher and the team. The area is a little more remote than I realised so worth planning ahead for that, but it's really peaceful and full of wildlife – 100% worth venturing out for! The villas are really nicely done up, modern and super comfortable. Definitely recommend as an excellent nature base.”

“Lovely quiet setting, a cluster of very stylish bungalows set amongst palm trees a couple of minutes walk from the beach. Each bungalow had an outside seating area with built-in benches with foam cushions for relaxation/reading etc. Planting around this space added to the overall look. There was a large open air restaurant: tables and chairs under a traditional-style roof. Staff were attentive, the food was really good - big portions and the Sri Lankan breakfast was fabulous. “A truely amazing experience made perfect by the wonderful team. We stayed for 4 nights and could not find fault. The food was excellent and the staff could not have done more for us. We had a dolphin watching trip and a reef fishing trip where we caught baracuda which was expertly prepared for us that evening for supper. The beach cabana was clean and comfortable.”

“Our stay was 3 nights. Nice staff and they tried to help. The Wifi was not working all the time. There was no yoga available. Kitchen staff did not know much english, so we had problems with dietary issues. The water served in dinners is not bottled water. Maybe better not to drink.”
