Many of the local restaurants and hotels had closed for the season but this hotel is a rare gem. There is a tennis court and a pool and plenty of hiking trails right from the property. "I had a last mini snafu with my actual reservation and was told upon arrival my reservation was not valid as location does not use Expedia. Immediately I was able to find another booking and made same day reservation at Hotel Federico II. I immediately called hotel after reservation was made and they set up an adjoining room to accommodate our family and even set up a rolling bed to accommodate our five people. The included breakfast was quite impressive and the accommodations were very relaxing. My husband and I was able to enjoy alone time at the bar. It was very peaceful. Staff was always kind and helpful with what we needed. "
