“Unique, quirky, ancient building. Excellent restaurant (not open in August). Comfortable and relaxing. The only improvement one could wish for is a kettle in the room and minimal tea/coffee amenities, but that's not typical of traditional Italian hotels. In any case, the continental buffet is great and included in the rate.”

“very clean and well managed facilities. Sottoluce must be one of the top tier restaurants in Italy.”

“Very good Hotel and Good Restaurant next to Hotel.”

“Nice location and beautiful building”

“Trevligt hotell!”

“The hotel is conveniently located near Modena's historic centre. It's an older facility however the room & bath was clean. Comfortable bed, spacious room and parking was. Included as well as a great breakfast buffet with self service coffee machine. Highly recommended, reasonable price.”

“Tolle Unterkunft, kleines aber feines Frühstück”

“We arrived quite late and it was a little difficult to find in the dark, but our hosts were able to come out to meet us at the gate. The hosts were amazing! We arrived as guests and left after 4 nights feeling like family. They are wonderful. The breakfast was home made with more variety than we could wish for. Best breakfast we have had in Italy! If you are wanting to stay in the Modena area, this is a great place to call home for a few days. Hosts are 11/10!”
