โWas initially upset they didnโt give the room booked on Expedia. They rectified it shortly thereafter and the stay was smooth with friendly staff โ
โThe team at Big Game was amazing! We booked because we really wanted to do a safari and that was amazing but we were blown away be everything else! The food was above and beyond what I expected with 4 courses for dinner, 3 at lunch , and a very full breakfast. They list breakfast as continental but it's much more than that.
The first tent we were in was fine but we upgraded part way through and really appreciated the extra space! โ
โNirosh is an excellent host. Very kind person who arranged us dinner after our king train journey from Colombo to Anuradhapura. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Anuradhapura. Such a beautiful place near to big beautiful lake. โ
โRasika a member of staff was awesome. He seemed to do everything, from cooking to serving to carrying your bags. He went over and above. Great value for miney and the food was good and large portions.โ

โThe AC in our first room wasn't functioning properly. We were moved to another room and that was great. The staff were all fantastic, the pool was beautiful in a great location which felt like you were in the jungle. Breakfast was excellent. Other meals all very good and tasty. โ
โPart of this hotel is under renovation. Improvements are being made but the service is excellent as provided by Dilan, the owner.
This hotel has a huge lake right behind it and it is sanctuary to wild life. Very quiet and peaceful. I strongly recommend it.โ
โGood and clean family room and friendly staff. Arranged a tuktuk tour for us to discover Anuradhapura. Kids enjoyed the swimming pool as well. We only stayed one night but was an excellent place for our stop in Anuradhapura.โ
