"Hermoso lake is one of the most beautiful places in the Lake District! The hotel has killer views of the lake! Deborah was a fantastic hostess and Martin a chef extraordinaire! "

"This beautiful hotel sits in a valley surrounded by gorgeous mountains and right across from a beautiful river at the foot of high mountain cliffs. The setting alone is worth the price but the hotel itself is beautiful, the rooms very comfortable, the staff very attentive and the food very good. The hotel also has the most beautiful trails along the river with flowers and trees and bushes. Absolutely idyllic. To top it all off, there was a family of geese of a rare species that camped in front of the hotel and a King fisher that visited frequently. Highly recommend!"
