"Batad Rice Terraces is a must see, but have to be physically fit for it is very steep, high, narrow and very very long walk. "The setting of Batad Pension is unbelievably beautiful. It’s worth the trek in to spend the night there and really enjoy Batad. In addition, the owner is lovely and warm, cooks lovely food, and goes out of her way to be helpful to her visitors. I highly recommend Batad Pension and Restaurant"

Jun 19, 2019- If you go here by Codalines from Manila, be aware that their aircon is freezing cold - so bring some warm covers. - it takes about 1 hour by trycicle from Banaue to Batad. To get to the village or the homestays you need to walk down a longer trail.
