Rye is a super quaint town. I'm glad we went there during the off season, December. It wasn't too crowded. We really enjoyed the quiet, slow pace of our day. I imagine it would be crazily crowded in the summer.

"Attractive and warm hotel with great communal spaces and restaurant and cosy rooms, breakfast is generous and tasty. Perfect location for exploring Rye. Some of the rooms a bit of a walk away, so do check if you have mobility issues."

"Very friendly staff. Breakfast was excellent. Hotel a bit tired and lack of AC on a very hot day was noticable. Nice touch with a guest happy hour and free cheeseboard."

"Beautiful views and great communication from the owner on how to find it and access your hut. We stayed in The Hive for one night and it was a little dusty, everything needed a deep clean. It didn’t ruin our trip, and would visit again in the hope this was a one off error."
