Akutami
While Akutami might not have many sights to explore, venturing just a little farther will lead you to top things to see and do like Nagaragawa Onsen and Gifu Castle.

Clean room! Staff were great! Their spa is sort of tattoo friendly. They will allow tattooed people into their spa area as long as it’s covered. We brought our own tattoo patches to use but they also have them for sale 220 yen per patch.

Hotel Resol Gifu
Two blocks from the train station and the bus terminals, very easy to take a day-trip. The hotel is big and the room is spacious, much large than a typical Japanese hotel's. It is in the area with many restaurants.

GRAND BASE Nagoya Ekinishi
Really nice and spacious. Bit of a weird layout where it’s all one huge room; configured differently there could have been two rooms with a sleeping area and a living room. A couple minor annoyances. It’s listed as having a dryer but we didn’t see one. The front desk told us it’s a washer and dryer ...

GOLD STAY NAGOYA OSU
Nice small hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Great bedrock bath available for complementary use which we thoroughly enjoyed.
