Simply wonderful!! Great location, beautiful scenery with lots of toucans and other birds on the property. The villas are brand new, very clean and comfortable. Bijagua is a small town that is not overrun by tourists. There are many good restaurants, but this is probably not the place you would want to come if your are looking for a major resort experience. This is more a eco friendly, nature area
If we came back to costa rica we would keep driving thru - wish we had just booked a couple extra nights at Cacau House in Arenal instead - nothing against the hotel in Bijagua it really was awesome but the area would be a better fit for locals.
