"After staying in a not quite right apartment for the first part of our stay, we sincerely appreciated the large, tastefully-decorated and clean room at the Hotel Aiglon. Large for Paris, that is. There was side table for having coffee, although it was a little tight. The bathroom was large with two sinks and a shower. It was very clean and modern. I was pleased to have AC during the heat wave. There is a nice waiting room downstairs with comfortable chairs. And an elevator, which was very convenient. All in all, a good boutique hotel.
The staff was so helpful! We appreciated the convenient minibar downstairs as it had sodas, beer, wine, liquor and also snacks for a not too far from market price. We did not have the hotel breakfast - those seem ridiculously expensive everywhere - but the cafe next door had a nice coffee and croissant. The location was right across from the #4 and #6 metro, making it convenient to reach all the sights from this quiet neighborhood. It is a 15-minute walk from the Gare Montparnasse, and near creperies and a Japanese restaurant district. We would definitely stay here again, but perhaps get a suite next time."
