“Good location, 4 minutes walk to the Leh market. At check out they told me that they couldn't accept credit cards. Since I didn't have enough cash, they gave me their phone number and told me to pay using an application when I get home. Wow, how trustful!!! The only thing I did not like was that there was no heating. They provided a small heater but that wasn't enough. There was plenty of hot water. What I liked the most was the food, so fresh and so good. I could say it is the best hotel...

“The resort is a perfect getaway for city dwellers. The resort nestles amidst the majestic middle Himalayas in the village of Saboo. The location is about 10km (15 minutes drive on a normal day) from the Kushok Bakula Rinpoche airport The cottages are well appointed, with lovely views from the verandah. There is a quaint little bridge with a water stream underneath too. The staff is very friendly and go out of the way to be helpful to guests. We needed our breakfast ready 30 minutes before time...

“The food was fantastic. Zagmo and the kitchen staff turned out excellent food. The India food was much better than any Indian Restaurant we know on Vancouver Island, and the kitchen staff was able to make excellent Western style breakfasts when we wanted them. All of the staff were great, from the front desk to the porters. Even if I were to stay in a less expensive hotel in Hunder, I would definitely come to this hotel just for the meals!”

“Amazing Hosts. Wonderful place. We loved our visit and will have a long memory of Laddakh in our lives because of great hotel staff. Don't forget to ask for Dorjee driver for your taxi travel. One of the best driver I have every driven with (and you will need it because of rough terrain). I could trust him with my family in car on treacherous Himalayan roads and a whole bunch of aggressive drivers around.”
