"We had a wonderful stay at Hotel 1200 and would highly recommend it! The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with cozy beds and convenient in-room amenities including a fridge and microwave. We also appreciated having water and ice machines right in the hallway — a small touch that made coming and going so much easier. The location is unbeatable. Steps from the metro station, with plenty of dining options nearby, and only 20–30 minutes to Manhattan. Getting to and from the airport was also a breeze. The surrounding area may feel a bit lively for first-time visitors, but we felt safe and comfortable throughout our stay. The hotel was clean throughout, and the atmosphere was peaceful — no noise issues at all despite being so close to transit. What really stood out was the staff. They were friendly, professional, and genuinely accommodating from start to finish. After arriving on a red-eye flight, they graciously offered us an early check-in and kept us updated on room availability throughout — that kind of attentiveness and thoughtfulness makes a real difference and is something we won’t forget. We’ll definitely be back on our next visit to New York!"

"Overall, I had a positive stay and appreciated the friendly staff, safe location, and especially the early check-in. Once I was settled in, my stay was comfortable. Before arriving, I contacted the hotel regarding a special occasion trip to New York for the Tribeca Film Festival, and the team kindly responded that my notes had been added to my reservation. However, I was initially assigned the wrong room type, and it seemed those notes had not been reviewed before arrival. The staff quickly resolved the issue, and I appreciate their efforts. My main suggestion would be to review guest notes and special requests 24–48 hours before check-in to ensure expectations are met. I would also recommend clearer communication on Expedia regarding the $100 per night incidental authorization, as this was unexpected during check-in. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would consider returning in the future."

"We loved the location with Target across the street & subway to any area pretty easy. The proximity to the Brooklyn Bridge was amazing & the waterfront beautiful. The room was small but the balcony was huge- definately recommend the upgrade for a long stay. The staff was adequate- no memorable assistance though. The decor was outdated, and no continental breakfast of any kind- the amenities were zero- you could smell the chlorine of a pool but not allowed access. There are vending machines for snacks & soda & the cafe adjacent was only good for coffee. We would probably stay again because of the location but don't expect too much."
