German Alps 2 Stars Hotels

Spent 2 nights with the family to visit during school holidays Salzburg and sightseeings around. Quite new, clean, well managed hotel/pension. Friendly and supportive owner. Perfect connection to public transportation, bus stop is right in front of hotel. Great for money spent.

Nice quiet place to relax. Staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel is in a nice small village area feel. Close to beautiful scenic vistas and hiking trails.

Martina was easily reachable. Spacious area with access to a kitchen. The breakfast offering was very generous. Cozy dining area and bedroom.

Excellent place to stay. Daily shuttle to and from the mountain for skiing. Phenomenal breakfast every day. Great sauna and pool. Delicious restaurant for dinner option as well. I will definitely stay here again.

We as a family of 4 were perfectly satisfied and enjoyed our stay. Perfect location away from the madness of Salzburg proper. Check in was a breeze. Check out was a breeze. Just follow the instructions. The only issue was parking. No real info so I figured it out myself. Around the corner is a garage. €10 per day, but if you to the garage office you can get a discount for multiple days. We would definitely stay here again

My husband and 2 daughters stayed for 7 nights at the Gastof Eiserne Hand while visiting the area to ski and watch the Free Ride World Tour event. They had the most amazing hospitality from Markus and Micel and stated "it was the best place we have ever stayed". The beds were comfortable, the location beautiful, the breakfast delicous and the after dinner schnaps very much enjoyed. We really enjoyed this place and all the perks like the cereal bar/mini market in the shared space . The views were lovely and it felt very modern though we were staying in a historic building . We did not have any interaction with staff but everything was clearly marked so it was an easy stay !

Everything about this hotel was fantastic. Breakfast on the enclosed terrace with a lake view was excellent. The front staff were ever so helpful in booking me an e-bike. If you’d like to stay somewhere with old world charm, this is it. Also if you’re looking for something different to eat, try their Latin themed restaurant, Kasa, right next door.
