“My stay at Destino Hotel was an absolute dream. The views were absolutely stunning, and the entire design of the property was gorgeous. It truly felt like paradise. Orlando was the best host, so warm and accommodating, making sure every detail of my stay was perfect. The hot springs were incredibly relaxing and a highlight of the experience. “Nepenthe is a gem. You need to grab this stay for as long as it stays a gem, the owners are getting older and are actively trying to sell. Make this trip, you will not regret it. Stay for the week, there is plenty to do around Arenal, do not spend hours driving that you could spend listening to the howler monkeys, watching the toucans every morning, or enjoying the oropendola living their day. ”

“WOW! We are staying 4 nights and so lucky to have chosen this hotel. The setting is fantastic, lovely and so relaxing especially the gardens, river, pond with ducks and the refreshing covered outdoor pool. Staff Marinela & Elena are very kind, helpful and efficient. Our room is spacious but minimal storage space. Lots of free parking and safe. Delicious outdoor breakfast by Karina and Cristina. A short drive to the town center. Highly recommended!”
