Staff were always helpful but occasionally difficult to find Not many foreign tourists in this area so dont expect English to be other than basic apart from what i took to be the hotel manager. A delightful stay in a historic hotel.”

“If you are going to Ratanakiri, this hotel is the best. I went there in a rainy season and stayed in a fan room but it was great. “Banlung is a dusty provincial capital without much going for it other than gem mines in the surrounding area. One diamond in the rough, however, was the Yeak Loam hotel. The clean, modern room paled by comparison to the wonderful, helpful staff. I hope to visit Banlung again, and when i do, ill stay at Yeak Loam!”
