Fitzrovia 3 Stars Hotels

"The only good thing about this hotel is that it was clean and conveniently located. The website made it look as though it was going to be a luxurious stay, it was not! I would not have liked to stay here alone, as there was a large gap under the door, no lock on the bathroom door and no phone in the room. Very, very noisy. There was no kettle, no spare towels or pillows. The shower set of the fire alarm and were then told off for smoking in the room by the staff… when we had not at all been smoking. So next showers included keeping bathroom door open, window open and trying to make sure the shower was not too hot. Which could be awkward depending on who you are traveling with. The lobby was very strange. The impression I got from the website was not met when the reception is a table with boxes propping up laptops. I have never had to queue for a hotel lift before, especially when there are 4 of them. But we had to give up waiting for them to come after a while and attempt to find the stairs, which was another challenge. We did not use the cafes or restaurants just because the vibe in the rest of the hotel was a bit odd. I think some redecoration or something to at least make it feel more like the website would help. "

"I highly recommend Aarran House, with its peaceful environment and comfortable bedrooms, along with helpful staff who showed us how to get around and provided a taste of the lovely food, which was the highlight: breakfast with a healthy variety of choices. I will definitely visit London again because of the hotel. Thank you. "

"Walking distance to 3 different tube stations, great shops, supermarkets nearby. A good variation of restaurants close by, plus an i ternational food market on Tuesdays & Thusdays in amongst the university buildings plus a tidy little park to sit out and eat if the weather is good. Waterstones book & coffee shop is opposite the hotel. Walking distance to the British Museaum."

"Very clean, great amount of space, has everything you would need for a stay in London. The only issue is that it is pretty noisy. There is a lack of soundproofing on the windows, so it was quite noisy. Great for heavy sleepers!!"
