“Welcomed an upgrade. Very much appreciated. However, on arrival asked to pay direct and not as normal through my booking form. This insured me card surcharges that I was not advised of at the time, and do not have through normal booking procedure. Also after dining at the establishment and going for the account to charge to my room, was advised I could not do so as it was blocked at the reception desk. “Check in was easy and friendly and the lady who served me (sorry I didn’t get her name) gave me so much information about the area - she was very passionate about Bremer Bay. The steak sandwich at the restaurant was abs delish - not overloaded like some sandwiches and really tasty. Thank you BB Resort :-).”

Settlers Hotel is at the back and they send an SMS with room and lock box number. Would have liked a box of tissues in the room somewhere. “I booked an Executive Twin room for 2 male family members, however received a double bed. Not happy. Due to lack of information from staff, we had no idea how to access the carpark and room as the gates were locked (after hours). Rang the after hours number, where the staff member was not Happy ”

“Kerry and Dave are excellent hosts and we had a lovely stay at the York Motel. Located within a very short walk of the main street but tucked away in a quiet spot. Our room and all amenities were spotless with modern bathroom and a good hot shower. Cannot fault their hospitality and can happily recommend. We would book direct with them next time though as our booking information had not been passed onto them in time for our arrival, thankfully Dave was brilliant at resolving the issue, thank...
