“Dam behind hotel. Peaceful walk in summer. Lovely”

“Fantatadtic helpful staff. Richard on the reception in the was a credit to the hotel. As was the lady who brought our meal to the table. The evening meal was delicious, and just the correct temperature. The bad was a bit lumpy, but considering the hotel was right next to a busy A14, there was no teafgic to be heard.”

“The hotel is situated next to a nature reserve , with a spa, and wellness centre. A very good location. However I found the room to have a very strong smell of damp, there was a lot of dust on top of the curtains, and lamp shades. When closing the curtains the dust fell down and the curtains were stuck along the curtain pole, I’m not sure if the room is used often enough to be thoroughly cleaned each time as it felt very damp as though it was cleaned a while ago and left. “Located just off the motorway and halfway on our journey, plenty of parking, looks very much like it used to be a premier inn, so needless to say comfortable bed, nice clean room, if we had to really nit pick and find fault, there was no extractor fan in the bathroom, or at least not working if the was one, 1st world problems! Despite being very close to the motorway and being able to hear traffic outside, once in the room, you couldn't hear a thing, this may be different in the heat of summer...

“Very enjoyable stay at the Woodland Manor Hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was nicely decorated with good facilities. The breakfast was excellent and overall the place was great value for money.”

“Given ground floor on courtyard and was a little worried about noise but no problem. Paid £4 for parking which wasn’t advertised on hotels.com but it was a big car park and safe and had a barrier. Can’t comment on the rest of the hotel as we booked in at reception and went outside to courtyard rooms. Didn’t opt for breakfast as was up and on our way. Would stay again at this hotel if we were in Grantham ”
