"We chose the property because it’s close to the train station, but what we didn’t know is that the staff are wonderful, the breakfast is a fresh and full spread of ash morning, and the beds and comfy. The property is simple and old but it didn’t feel dated or in the least. The only could have used a small fridge or iron, but we also didn’t ask, so maybe that have those on hand or could help if needed. Thank you for the lovely stay! We’d stay again! "We were welcomed warmly by staff and walked to our room with information and explanations along the way. Room was large, nice and bed was comfortable. Easy walk to our cruise boat dock. Easy walk to tram and bus stop. Staff was helpful with directions. Coffee available for purchase in the morning if not purchasing breakfast buffet. Wonderful stay in Basel. "

"The hotel is good considering the price range and its relative proximity to the airport. However, there was an issue with the advertised shuttle service. Although the instructions for locating the shuttle pick-up point were clear and helpful, upon reaching "Parking Express," there were no signs indicating the transfer. The shuttle itself was a regular taxi with no distinguishing markers other than the typical taxi sign. I only discerned I was in the right place after overhearing a conversation...

"We booked it last minute, in Europe usually you cannot check in after 8pm so having a 24 hour front desk for travelers is a huge bonus. We just parked on the street but I believe they’re have a garage as well. Also enjoyed check out at noon"
