"As with most hotels that have an adjoining casino, the room had no microwave or working refrigerator. Other than that, every area of the hotel & my room were very clean. I also had an extraordinary view of the Gateway Arch, Eads Bridge, and the Mississippi River. I will definitely stay at Casino Queen again in the future. "

Location was superb with many amenities in walking distance. I would take half a star off for the actual room I was given, it was musty smelling but otherwise very clean. "

"This was a great 2 night stay in the downtown area for a Cardinals game and sightseeing. The hotel is walking distance from the stadium and the Gateway Arch and all that is around it, including the beautiful and historic St. Louis Cathedral. I was most impressed by the size of the room (2 Queen beds) which had a large living area and almost felt like a small apartment! "I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel. I knew it was old but it looks like the new company is getting it spruced up. The room was clean, bed was comfortable, plenty of pillows, and enough towels. The front desk attendant was very knowledgeable. There is a shuttle if you are going to the amphitheater for a show. "We happened to stay when they were remodeling, so there was a bit more noise than usual, but that couldn’t be helped. Then there was a small fire that was contained in the kitchen but the fire alarm went if at about 4:30am and we needed to evacuate….thought we would’ve heard from management about the situation but we did not. Front desk was especially helpful in helping to locate lost phone. Room clean with very comfortable bed and linens. Enjoyed included breakfast and dinner. Good quality, fresh food and drinks. "
