"Great staff, easy check-in, comfy spacious room (with harbour view), pretty good westarn breakfast. Good value."

"Beside the train station Very nice hot bath. Lots of choice for breakfast"

"Wonderfully food experience. We were there on a holiday so there wasn't much open. Still, we went on a big walk in the rain - the Literature walk was well worth it 🙂. The town has a lovely feel. Pity about transport."

"Amazing stay we had."

"every thing was fine no complaints"

"Excellent Japanese breakfast, close to the station, loved happy hour"

"Basic stay in the Shimanto area. Even though the hotel is a bit old, it was comfortable."

"The breakfast was good. We can enjoy local taste !"

"Friendly hotel with excellent reasonably priced breakfast provided if required. Conveniently located near to castle and other attractions walkable nearby. Beer garden on top of the hotel. Seemed popular but I didn’t avail myself of the opportunity."

"Walls are thin. Everything else is great. Staff is fantastic. "

"PERFECT location in old town. Quiet and lovely house. Very spacious & well equiped. Super clean"

"Very spacious, lovely modern decor, so you get both a lovely 5 star stay but being able to enjoy the old town once you step out. Staff are friendly, able to tell you what are open for the night on a map (as it was a public holiday when we went). The breakfast is also worth it (just 1000yen pp?), not the type with luxurious ingredients but it was all nicely laid out and a very comfy cafe which you can easily spend half a morning there."

"nice"

"This was a beautiful and calm space, with plenty of room for two couples to stay together. An absolute delight to have the bathing room. Located right in the old area of the town"

"This is an excellent ryokan owned by a family, with clean and neat japanese style en-suite and onsen. It locates at the top of a small hill overlooking the supreme zekkei of the Shimanto River. The owner and the staffs are very hospitable, we wish to visit again in the future, perhaps in a different season. Thank you very much and we had a wonderful stay."

"Great little hotel in the castle town of Ozu The bed was comfortable but half height, along with the chair, but a bean bagged helped"
