"Rooms are great and spacious, also clean. We’ve booked some massages in advance which were also great value. (Keep in mind these are wellness, not medical!). However, the Fitness room needs some proper maintenance. Water rower out of water, Spin bikes barely moving, Weight stand bend, .. Nothing serious, but unexpected in a pricey 4* Hotel. Same is true for the Sauna Area. Like the knobs to hang your bathrobe/towel are either gone, or super loose. Again, it does function and I had a few Sauna...

"A stay at the well appointed Schloss Wilkinghege makes a wonderful luxury break from everyday life. It is beautiful building with an interesting history and quietly situated in its own grounds. "

"Clean rooms. Friendly staff. We were in a brand new section. The bed was clean and comfy. The bathroom was great - just a shower, no bath, but v powerful. Lovely meal in the restaurant. Good choices for breakfast including the selection of tea!"

"Second stay at this hotel. Son lives in Munster. This time was put in the annex building - not as good as the main hotel. And had to go across in rain for breakfast. Asked reception for breakfast tea bags in the room but to no avail (there was coffee or fruit tea). Really good breakfast. Comfy beds. Great location for getting about. "

"My stay at the hotel was excellent. I made good use of the gym spa. It is near the central station which is convenient and has a car park at the back. The old town is about a 5-10 minute walk away and is very pretty. Overall, I would stay here again."

"Just an overnight stay en route as we have done before. Beautifully situated country hotel with lots of green space. Very comfortable room, clean with good facilities. Didn’t use the pool but it was available. Delightful dinner and a hearty buffet breakfast. Hotel is dog friendly with lots of walking available. We will stay again."
