"a very pleasant modern hotel near the train and bus stations. Lovely room and bathroom. Great sheets. Quiet. Lovely view of the river. The building across teh street was ugly though. The tennis court needs modernisation and to be swept as it was full of sand and slippery on that account. "

"Great location close to historic Coimbra. Be sure to explore the many alley/side streets nearby. Wonderful clean, comfortable, well appointed room. Be sure to have breakfast at O Croisant and an espresso at Santa Cruz Cafe, both just steps away from the front door. Lots of stairs to see the best of Coimbra so bring your walking shoes "

"The staff went out of their way to make our stay amazing - our only regret was that we couldn’t stay another night! The restaurant served some of the best food we have ever eaten. The steak that my wife got was SO good that she asked to speak to the chef, just to tell him it was the best steak she had EVER had in her life! We NEVER do that!"

"Beautiful old world apartment central to everything. Hotel was clean and modern and instructions were easy. Finding location at first was challenging as there is no car pull in or front desk. However once we arrived it was easy. The bed was a bit firm and walls very thin so heard the people above us. Gentleman who worked there was very friendly and helpful. Worth the money and very safe. "

"Overall the hotel was good , but some of the facilities need updating for example the spa. I didn't stay for dinner but the breakfast was average and I would recommend upgrading to barista coffee which is available for a Euro"

"The hotel is right on the river. With both beautiful room decks and a large deck for meals and peaceful sitting time. There is an outdoor pool as well as a spa that was enjoyable. Clean and comfortable (ask for robes if you don't see them in your room). Staff all around was friendly and helpful. Look forward to a return stay someday :)"

"Beautifu and new location. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive. We originally planned a one night stay and decided to extend it one more night. Location is calm and quite overlooking the Serra da Estrela. The location is a short and beautiful drive to Fundão and Covilhã. Highly recommend this location . You will not be disappointed."
