"Staff was not on property as it is off seasons, but kind, accommodating and polite. The checkin was easy, bed was very comfortable, location was very practical. The rooms are small but functional. We disliked the lack of shower curtain, bad smell of bathroom and the fact that there is zero soundproofing. We were bothered by noise from other rooms etc."

Food was very good and the free bus to town a nice touch, although late both times (must be Greek time) we booked this. Also hired a couple of quads from Aegean near Reception. All in all everything was good."

"The room we were put in on arrival was very basic and small, the 2 drinking glasses were dirty and dust on the cups, no cutlery, plates available in the room so asked for a bigger room but I had to pay €125 extra."

"Reception staff were not knowledgeable or informative about the area or even the hotel at all. Manager was rude and ruthless and just stared rather than being friendly.The hotel pool had a thick layer of green gunk around the edges, pretty grim.We never saw the pool, pool area or the sunbeds being cleaned once. B/fast was pretty basic, same every day - what you'd expect. Chap at pool Bar was brilliant, room cleaners were also excellent. You're at the mercy of buses or cabs getting you into...

"Afraid this wasn't the best. The location was wonderful but that's about it. I'm not sure where the upgrades were but they weren't in my room which was in need of a refresh and even though there was aircon was very warm. Also DO NOT take up their offer of an airport transfer. EU55 when if you just get a local cab it'll be EU15. I felt totally ripped off. "

"We had a lovely stay at Anthena apartments. Spotlessly clean- well equipped. Close to main area with plenty shops and bars and restaurant’s close by. Rannia and Stavros excellent hosts- such a lovely couple. Would definitely stay again! "

"The owner and his family are very nice and greeting us. The owner is taking good care of us. He even offer us a ride to the port. It's only 11 minutes walking from his hotel. The view is amazing."

"Lovely small hotel in a great location easily walkable to Skiathos town. Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful and do everything they can to make your stay as good as possible. We were disappointed that the decor and condition of the property wasn't up to the standards of the photos on the website, which make the hotel come across as chic and modern - it has more of a boutique feel in reality, and was run down in places eg damaged furniture and mould on the grouting of the tiles. "Utrolig fin utsikt og hyggelig personale. God mat. Fint rom, men badet var slitt og ikke blitt pusset opp på lenge. Måtte dusje i et badekar uten forheng, så hele badet var fylt med vann etter en dusj. Var også dårlig med belysning ute på kvelden, men det kom etter noen dager. Er mye lenger til stranda enn beskrevet. Er ca 1 km. Hotellet har en egen sjåfør som de tilbudte seg kunne kjøre oss til stranden som vi benyttes oss av en dag. Det var veldig fint. I tillegg fikk vi låne håndklær fra...
