WOW what an amazing hotel, so clean, nice breakfast and AMAZING staff that really makes this hotel - can't thank them enough absolutely love staying here! Highly recommend, can't wait to go back :)

Great hotel in a lovely location The hilly driveway is an issue and you have to wait for a driver to drive you up to the apartments, but staff are extremely friendly and helpful Good breakfast and hotel in a lively location to access the beach

This property is beautiful, we stayed in a pool room and loved the views and it was very clean and the bed comfortable which was a plus. The breakfast is a bit limited but more than adequate. The staff were wonderful and friendly. The property is in a steep hill but a driver is available to take you up the hill but we liked the walking challenge. There are also plenty of lifts as needed. The beach is a short walk away as is the bus stop for the very organised bus service. There are also some very lovely greek tavernas near by so plenty of choices for eating out.

Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, whether it be recommending where to go for lunch or dinner, or driving you up to your room, nothing was too much trouble. Our room was kept very clean throughout our stay and the views were lovely.

Clean and quiet room. I really enjoyed my stay here and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Driver Capitano Aaron was very hospitable and always free to drive me round the compound. Staff were also helpful arranging taxis and airport transfers. Thanks so much

Everything great, the staff was more than friendly welcoming and helpfull, the breakfasts really tasty and we loved so much our private jacuzzi!

Beautiful hotel in a great location, very close to a nice beach and plenty of nice restaurants. The hotel is on the side of a hill but there is a lift from the ground floor, up to reception, the rooms, the restaurant and the elevated pool area . Fantastic views from every area of the hotel, including from every room. Overlooking the village below the surrounding countryside and the sea. The rooms are beautifully finished and if, like us, you manage to book a room with it's own plunge pool, it is a little haven of peace and luxury. Breakfast is lovely with almost anything you could want. Really nice. The restaurant serves a variety of really nice food. The pool is a good size with enough sun loungers for all guests, a bar and, again,.magnificent views. The sunbeds are the best, and most comfortable, that I have ever seen All of this is enough to justify the hotels fantastic reviews but the icing on the cake is the staff who are all exceptional. This is really well managed hotel and the manager personally goes above and beyond to ensure that guests have the very best holiday experience. I genuinely cannot recommend this hotel enough!

The Petra Nera is in a great location. Near a good selection of walkable tavernas, on the bus route, 2 min walk from the hotel. The hotel itself is on a steep slope but it employs two drivers who will take you up and down if you need it, from 8am to 12midnight. There is a small pool and nice pool bar. The pool villas are wonderful and well worth it, comfy beds and fabulous sunbed. Breakfast is not bad, repetitive and limited but ok. Nice touch there is a barista making coffees to order.

Magnifique hôtel proche de Koukounaries (plage avec les pins) et avec une très belle vue sur l’île. Excellent service et bon petit déjeuner.

Fantastic service by all of the staff at this amazing hotel. Hotel is close to the beach and has a great pool. Very easy to get to Skiathos town by bus. Hotel restaurant has delicious food and there are other restaurants walking distance from the hotel. Highly recommend and looking forward to our next stay here.

We had a wonderful week at Petra Nera! The employees are very friendly, the room was beautiful and the breakfast variety was amazing. There are many great restaurants around and also beautiful beaches near by. Heartfelt recommendation for a relaxing vacation in Skiathos! Thank you :)

Bus stop number 16 from airport right outside hotel or taxi for 25euro ,hotel offered to arrange for same price ,helpful welcoming staff location a good alternative to town quiter but with selection of restaurants and beaches.Rooms great were great we took one with own pool but large pool available on same terrace.Food we only ate breakfast but great good buffet selection.We would book again.

Trevligt hotell med fantastisk personal!

Nyrenoverat fint hotell med otroligt trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Rent och fint överallt och god frukost! Kort promenadavstånd till stranden där man kunde hyra solsängar. Busshållplats 16 låg precis nedanför hotellet vilket gjorde att det var lätt att ta sig till andra stränder och även in till mysiga Skiathos stad. Det fanns även trevliga små restauranger i närheten av hotellet. Kan verkligen rekommendera detta hotell!

The staff are what make this hotel special. They are so friendly and helpful. We stayed in a superior sea view room which was lovely, and the views breath-taking. The grounds are average and pool very small. Breakfast ingredients were low quality, and could be better.

Wow. I was looking for a hotel with a large room to accommodate our family (teen daughter) and this place was like a unicorn. We booked the junior suite so it had a separate area for our daughter but can easily accommodate up to 3 kids. She slept on a long wide couch that they made up for her and she was quite comfortable, but the couch can easily fit 2 more long kids. The actual hotel was fantastic. The pool was great and our room also had a private pool and large patio overlooking the landscape of Skiathos, gorgeous at all times of the day but especially at sunrise and in the evening. The hotel is perfectly located a couple of steps from bus stop 16 so you can hop on if you want to go anywhere (bus was incredibly easy to navigate and use) BUT you actually could just stay by the hotel because there is everything you need there. There is a beach across the street where you can get lounge chairs and an umbrella as well as go tubing, wave running, kayaking or paddle boarding. There are also tons of delicious tavernas just steps away. Our absolute favorite lunch place was Pork and Roll. The hotel breakfast was ample with options. The staff was exceptional in terms of their friendliness and desire to do just about any thing to make your stay unforgettable. Even my hard to please teen absolutely LOVED this place. It is on a cliff but with the attentive staff waiting with golf carts and the easy access elevator, you don’t even notice except when you are looking at the views.
