“The welcome was warm and personal. Beautiful period property, everything is of really high standard, with such attention to detail. The view from our room over the trees, from our bed and also from the comfortable chairs was amazing. Breakfast was outstanding. Would recommend and would definitely stay again.”

“The Farmhouse is a lovely building that accommodated us perfectly - 5 adults, 3 kids. It could have accommodated a few more adults if couples were attending. It is let down by some of the furnishings which is a real shame, a little bit of re-investment is all that would be needed. A couple of the chairs have rips in the arms and seats which isn't what you would expect. All facilities are there for you in the kitchen, towels and dressing gowns are provided. “On arrival at Waterside Hotel, found the car park was mostly filled with work vans, so wondered if it was the right choice for a couple, but on entering we found the staff friendly and helpful, the room was basic but clean, the TV was set on the dressing table blocking the mirror. Breakfast in the morning was really good, with a great choice and tasty well cooked hot food and good speedy service, so good value overall.”

“This review is fairly irrelevant as it closed for good a few days after we left. I felt sorry for the staff as they were given very little notice. The bar and restaurant were closed during my stay but they did honour the breakfasts that we booked ”
