“Very happy with the stay, a great location for bars and pubs etc, there is parking , but it is restricted to 1.8meters , I just wish the site said the measurements as the vehicle I had was 1.9 so was abit annoying but did find a NCP carpark close by, I did message and try to call prior but didn’t get a response. The shower and kitchenette was superb, if I wanted to be petty then the tv remote didn’t work very well and took ages to change channels but I really wasn’t too bothered about that I...

“We arrived early and were told we could have a free upgrade. Our room, which was booked for 4, actually had 8 comfortable beds and was very spacious. The room had beautiful decor and we entered the bathroom which had 2 showers and a bath which was almost like a small swimming pool. Amazing! On the way out the staff suggested places we could go and were very friendly making us love Liverpool all the more. Thank you Shankleys for a great stay!”

“Arrived and greeted by the most incredibly kind staff. They really couldnt have given us any more to make us feel welcome. Want to give a huge thanks to Robin on reception. My husband has a neck injury and the staff even offered to get pain medications from the local Pharmacist for us. The food in 1881 resturant within the grand hotel was delicious and served by Felix. What a kind gentleman he was also. Even making my young boy happy by giving him free mocktails! Both inside and outsoor pools...
