"The room was lovely and very clean. The Spa/pool was good but it was missing a jacuzzi really. Very busy on the Saturday and couldn’t get a seat by the pool for a while. Loads of people on their phones whilst around the pool area, which sign state are not allowed but staff never told anyone to put them away! Breakfast was really good, lots of choice for us. Had dinner in lounge bar. Pizza was decent but the duck breast although very nice, the potatoes that come with it was 6 very small cubes! Would have expected more than that for the price. Overall the hotel is very well presented but there’s not much around it, so you’ll have to drive or get the train across the road for more entertainment/food choices."

"Lovely place to have as a base for a university reunion - great bar to come back to after dining out, excellent value for money, able to check in on Saturday early, and they automatically have late check out on a Sunday till 3pm. "Mixed bag. Room lovely, clean, comfortable and reasonably priced. Had booked a spa package, and (obviously not the hotel’s fault) there were a lot of crying/screaming children in the pool, so would not book for a relaxing spa again. Ratina in the restaurant was lovely, although the food and drinks were just ok (and very overpriced)."
