La réceptionniste devait venir me réveiller à 3h30 et commander un taxi comme elle l'avait proposé mais elle n'a rien fait et j'ai dû me débrouiller tout seul dans la rue pour trouver un taxi qui m'emmène à l'aéroport. De plus un bruit infernal dans la rue face à la chambre, impossible de dormir. D'autre part il y a 2 hôtels Carmel à Abidjan, vous devriez le préciser, le taxi m'a emmené au mauvais hôtel, j'ai dû traverser la ville deux fois aux heures de pointe dans les embouteillages. Très mécontent de mon séjour d'une courte nuit dont je suis sorti très stressé et épuisé

Un véritable effort du personnel pour la propreté, l'organisation et la satisfaction du séjour, pour un prix extrêmement abordable, et ce pour quelconque étranger que ce soit! Malheureusement l'hôtel lui même n'est plus de première jeunesse et ne peut certainement pas se comparer à une installation de luxe: Ses services sont assez limités, et les portes ainsi que certains meubles sont assez délabrées.Nul nuisible à craindre cependant car les femmes de ménage sont zélées! De plus, la position de l'hôtel le dessert: On ne peut se rendre facilement et rapidement qu'en zone 4 (Ce qui est déjà bien, il s'âgit de l'endroit ou tout se passe sur Abidjan). Les zones tel que Cocody ou les lagunes prendront bien plus de temps à rejoindre et contraindront un touriste à redoubler d'organisation pour éviter de passer son temps à appeler les Taxis. En résumé, selon mon opinion de modeste client, il ne s'âgit pas du meilleur hôtel au monde, et beaucoup de mes compatriotes européens ne le trouveront peut-être pas à leur gout. Mais vous serez bien content de le trouver quand vous aurez besoin dans l'urgence d'un endroit où séjourner sur Abidjan, et qui peut, si l'on garde l'esprit ouvert, vous donner une facette unique de cette ville, qu'un touriste se bornant à un hôtel professionnel ne pourra tout simplement pas comprendre à moins de le vivre. J'en garderai un souvenir agréable pour ma part, et je souhaite au personnel la meilleure des chances!
