When we arrived the property was not cleaned: There were scuff marks on the bedding, bedding was inside out with stains on the sheets like it’s not been changed. There were peoples clothes hanging on the clothing rail on the balcony. The cutlery and crockery were not clean and very dirty and we had to wash them before using. One of the toilets smelt very damp and the shower pole was shaky. There was no shower tray to keep your wash bag on. There were ants in the broom so when we tried to sweep, infested the apartment. The host was very hard to reach and also attempted to charge us more in cedis than what was quoted in dollars so be very careful else you’ll be taken advantage of. The electricity cut out and we couldn’t get through to him to top up more. The WiFi was very unstable which meant it took a long time and multiple tries to do anything online. There was also water damage in the en-suite bathroom preventing the bathroom door from closing and water seeped out from under the shower door. Noticed multiple stains (some hand print marks) on the walls and the doors despite the agent claiming the apartment was cleaned under his supervision before we arrived. Very horrible experience and will not be booking again.
