The hotel's prime location and clean rooms were definite highlights. Most staff members were friendly and welcoming. However, our experience was soured by a security guard's unnecessarily harsh behavior. When we attempted to take the elevator from the garage where our vehicle was parked, he became confrontational and insisted we use the main entrance. His tone was unprofessional, and the encounter felt strange and unwarranted. While the manager's apology and resolution were appreciated, the guard's behavior left a lasting impression. With some customer service training for staff, this hotel could easily elevate its game. For now, it's a solid "average" – a good location and decent amenities, but inconsistent service.

Boutique experience from a big chain!

What was a long layover turned into a really nice addition to my African tour. The facilities and rooms are extremely nice. However, the exceptional feature of this hotel is the staff. They treat guests as if the Raddison Blu was a small boutique hotel.

What a shame: Restaurant staff shows bad service.

This is a very good Hotel, probably one of the Best in Addis Ababa, Only the food in the restaurant was not well prepared, and after complaining staff was not able to solve this. What a shame, as this was a contradiction with the good service of this Hotel.
