"Our stay, was exceptional from start to finish. To be greeted at check-in with a glass of champagne, and selecting a room fragrance is a perfect start.
Having private access to the pool was nice to enable a cool dip during the warm afternoons. The spacious terrace was well-furnished with decent sunbeds, a dining table, and a comfortable sofa.
There is a great selection of high-quality breakfast products, including several sourdough bread options and plenty of seeds, nuts, fresh fruit, and yoghurt for the health-conscious, plus a good variety of cooked options.
The minor gripes for us: Firstly, not the hotels fault, there were the odd inconsiderate guests who felt the need to be heard by everyone or to use a mobile phone on hands free in a restaurant.
We used to hotel shuttle to dine at Il Bocconcino one evening and informed both the concierge and the shuttle driver that we were dining there. We were dropped at the main hotel reception and told we had to walk outside, along the road, to the reception other end of the complex. The driver could have dropped us at the other reception (driver drove past us) or we could have been offered the internal shuttle. This could be a real inconvenience in the height of summer when trekking down the road in eveningwear, when you'll be sitting outside with no aircon.
Beyond those minor details, it remains an absolute sanctuary for a couples' getaway in Costa Adeje, and would definitely return."
