Very dated motel. Sheets were clean but bathroom was a bit dirty in places. Short walk to the beach and bars and restaurants. Okay for a one night stay in Glenelg.

Great location in Glenelg but very tired dirty carpet dirty vertical blinds - the bed was very comfortable plenty of hot water!

A Gaming Room staff checked me in - very friendly. Room was quiet, clean and comfortable. and surprising quiet for a hotel/motel. The location is great. On check-out, staff really friendly and helpful. I had a great stay and will go back again.

Nice clean accommodation with good food
I visit Adelaide regularly to see my Mum (at Hove), and catch up with friends, so around the Glenelg area is ideal to minimise too much travel. It's an ideal location, with onsite parking. A hairdryer was loaned to me for the duration of my stay. The Bay Motel Hotel room was clean and perfectly adequate for my stay. Lunch and evening meals in the Hotel dining room were delicious. Breakfast cafes and shops are abundant in the area, as are other fantastic shopping areas nearby (Jetty Road Glenelg and Brighton, Westfield Marion, and the sensational Market on Maxwell [Terrace] for the best vanilla slices on the planet [and the best hosts Paul and Eleni]).

A good location
Enjoyed my stay , clean and comfortable room . Great Location and great coffee shops close by . Only down fall was the loud group in the car park at 1am on the Saturday night ! There are always people who don’t consider others !!! I would stay again .

Room smelt like smoke, had to buy spray to cope. Not good for asthmatics

Bay Hotel/Motel handy to all one needed on holiday
Rooms: {We had 2.} Lovely & clean. Couches worn out & very uncomfortable. Only 1 bedside table. Cracked basin...no plug...it was blocked & water kept rising. Toilet wobbly, not screwed down to floor. Small flush jammed & ran on so we couldn't use it. Curtains ripped from getting caught in door. They just needed pinning to the inside of the window frame with a white drawing pin...problem solved! No cooked breakfast offered. The staff were just lovely & couldn't do enough to help. The meals in Dining room were delicious and very well priced. The gaming venue was a disaster area! Old worn out ripped stools that didn't raise or lower to accommodate all heights. Worn out torn carpet. Very shabby room. Rear entry into gaming room stank to high heaven & needed a bloody good wash. All other venues we visited offered complimentary soft drinks & coffee to players. It's a nice touch and a very good PR. The staff really did save the day here. They were pleasant, helpful, attentive and always happy to help in any way they could. WOTIF DID NOT SEND ANY OF OUR MESSAGES TO THE MOTEL! Very bad business!!!

parking is a bit tricky, meals great and lot of value. rooms very basic and getting shabby but for the price still excellent.

Very good value
We just needed a room for the night as we were flying out very early next morning. This was close to all facilities and only 10 minutes from the airport.

Very limited facilities in the room. No toiletries or hairdrier, can't get room service or take-away from adjacent restaurant, small bathroom. Reception access limited to office hours. Car parking limited. Cleaning staff were very friendly and helped out.

Dear Anonymous. Whilst we no longer supply toiletries, hairdryers and irons are available on request from reception. Meals may be taken to enjoy in your room. For assistance when reception is unattended, please see gaming room staff. This information is all included in our room flyers. Nice close to Glenelg
Quiet, safe in the streets. Friendly staff and happy hour each day in hotel was a benefit. Other hotel residents at 7:30am each morning decided to have a conversation outside the rooms using loud voices which was a detrimenalt wake up call. A reminder to be quiet to consider other residents should be considered

Easter Break
The motel was packed with noisy kids who were allowed to misbehave by their parents/guardians. When we complained to management they were aware of the issue and had issued stern warnings. The TV in the room did not work by the duty manager finally got it working. The bistro provided a good evening meal. The breakfast in room was OK but the toast was supplied with no butter. We would certainly not rush back there as there are better places to stay in Glenelg.

a hotel at reasonable price and close to M2
We stayed one night in this hotel on our way to Kangaroo Island. The hotel includes a restaurant and poker machines/pub next to the hotel. It is close to a number of other restaurants and close to M2 leading to the Sealink Terminal. Because the hotel allowed their restaurant and pub customers to use the car space which should be reserved for us,we were forced to park our car at the another car park at the back of the hotel. This caused us some inconvenience and disatisfaction.

Very clean, basic room with a great bed. Close to Restaurants, cafes, organic shop and small supermarket and beaches. Although parking is available for each motel room, there are no room numbers on the parks and we found that if you left your parking spot someone else would take it - frustrating.

Whilst our room was clean, there was no wardrobe in the room, no hair dryer was supplied either. The Hotel part had a good restaurant and food was reasonably priced. Pillows not very good however the bed was comfortable.

We got what we paid for
Our stay was good, and according to price, we got what we paid for. Wifi was difficult to keep, line kept dropping out, but that might not be the fault of the Motel, but the carrier at the time. Yes we would stay again, because the price was what we could afford, and there was not much to choose from in the lower price bracket.
