What a fantastic place to stay. Great facilities. Breakfasts were amazing. Hosts were friendly, knowledgeable about the area and very easy going. Highly recommended
The hosts, Ciaran and Jenny made you feel welcome from the time you arrived. Breakfast included was amazing (continental and cooked) which set you up for the day. Vineyards are close by and would definitely recommend if you’re visiting McLaren Vale.
It was a pleasure to meet hosts Cieran and Jenny.
It was comfortable and clean. They gave us lots of info about the area of where to go and where we could dine.
Made our stay very enjoyable
Layout was brilliant with well equipped lounge/kitchenette/dining area separate from the lockable bedroom/shower/toilet and with independent front door key access.
Plenty of choice for breakfast which was beautifully prepared and served right on time.
Hosts were really hospitable without being intrusive. Loved our time there.
Bed was a tad soft and unsupportive for our needs.
Ciaran was the perfect host from the moment we were welcomed at the front door till we left. Everything was provided for.
Wonderful breakfasts, homemade cookies tea and coffee and evening port made our stay there very memorable. We were given lots of local information which was most helpful. Would stay there again!
We had an amazing 2 day stay at Bellevue. Ciaran and Jenny are wonderful hosts and their property is very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful and included home made preserves and yoghurt. We loved chatting with them both and really appreciated all the little extra touches which made us feel comfortable.
An amazing stay, beautiful home with excellent facilities, great heating on a cold, blustery day, bathroom and shower facilities are first class. The breakfast was oh so delicious, especially the Irish potato cakes, the homemade apricot jam and marmalade. Lovely selection of books and board games. Ciaran and Jenny are wonderful hosts, great tips on the local area
We have travelled a lot around the world and the degustation 5 course breakfast served here was the best we’ve ever had. Compliments to the chef Ciaran & delivered with much fun by Jenny. Thank You

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
We thought the place was overpriced for the accomodation that was provided. The owners were friendly and helpful but this did not compensate for the quality of the room or surroundings.
Ciaran is a friendly host. Near town of Maclaren Vale and nearby wineries. Missed sign for B&B initially but found it when we doubled back. More difficult in the dark. Only complain is the noise in the morning. There are 2 rooms. The other guests got up early and their talking woke us up so could not sleep in.
Fantastic accomodation We stayed here as we were attending a wedding in the area. Would have liked to spend more time. Everything was fantastic and the breakfast was so worth getting up for.
Friendly hosts Would stay again
There are two B&B rooms so great for two couples
We stayed at Bellevue B & B for 2 nights on a 'Day on the Green' weekend. The owners were a lovely couple who seemed to really enjoy their role as wonderful hosts! They were friendly and helpful, but never intrusive. The breakfasts were amazing - plentiful and so delicious. An absolute highlight!
The accommodation was extremely clean and comfortable and our hosts had thought of every little detail. A large bottle of cool, filtered water in the bedroom each night, good port and chocolates in the lounge waiting for us when we got home, soft lights and music left on, a pot of hot tea on arrival, free wifi, etc, etc.
We didn't realise it was a 2 bedroom B & B when we booked, and another couple were also staying on the same weekend. However it really wasn't a problem. Our rooms were across the hall from each other and our hosts cleverly left soft music playing for privacy! One night we sat and drank port and talked with them when we all arrived home, but we could just as easily have moved to the courtyard or our room if we had wanted to be alone.
Overall we were very happy with our stay and would certainly stay again.
Wonderful hosts, excellent breakfast, comfortable bed and clean facility.
When we came home every evening, there was a little port and chocolate to finish the night off.
They were such thoughtful as hosts . Highly recommend a stay here.
no air conditioning in our room, it was hot. Having a shower water was leaking at the bottom it was running outside onto the floor. The basin also was leaking around the edge when washing hands. The door to the bathroom was too small to walk through, no good for a wheelchair. You need a chair in the room to sit to watch tv.
My partner and I booked our stay at Bellevue Bed & Breakfast as we were attending a wedding just up the road at a local winery. Before we arrived, our host Ciaran contacted me to confirm our check-in time and also to clarify any dietary requirements during our stay. This gesture was wonderful as I do have specific dietary requirements and it was great to have this thought by our hosts. We were also able to check-in earlier than the specified time which was a great relief to us as we were attending a wedding in the afternoon. When we arrived we were warmly greeted by Ciaran and my partner and I were very impressed by the facilities and cleanliness of our room and the common areas. Our bedroom was the perfect size for us and also fitted two standard size suitcases perfectly on the floor. The accomodation is secure and easily located in Mclaren Vale. Another wonderful gesture of our hosts was the bed turndown service, this was something we were not expecting and it was just lovely! The bed and pillows were comfortable and we loved the ducted airconditioning and ceiling fan in the bedroom. The most wonderful part of our stay was the breakfast, this is a highlight of your stay and we highly recommend the hot breakfast as well as the continental. The small details that are put into each and every breakfast item is wonderful and simply delicious. A must have is the delicious homemade preserves and caramelised pears! Thank you Ciaran and Jenny for our beautiful stay!
Kirran was a friendly host who cooked a great breakfast each day. Despite 30+ degree heat outside the room was cool and comfortable. There are good facilities - lounge room and kitchenette but we spent most of our time visiting wineries.
