โLoved our stay at this hotel, not too far from the lake and the hotel itself is very nice, historical feel but not old & broken down. Pictures do not do this hotel justice, staff very nice & loved the vibe here. Great for families & friends, lots to do nearby โ
โThe updates to the hotel are great. the rooms are above average size which is awesome. I personally love that there are multiple hooks and shelves to hang items. There was a beside table for the second queen bed. It's like the hotel had heard my complaints from over the years and did it all right here. I would recommend this hotel to everyone. My only slight negative is one of the bed sheets were stained and it just kinda grossed me out. but everythign else was amazing.โ
โWhile we didn't stay in the hotel room most of the time, I always look at how dirty or old the carpet, furniture, paint, and bathrooms are. The floor of the tub was chipping, but otherwise no problems! I would definitely stay here again. The staff was so friendly, even just a passing, "Have a great day!"โ
โReally cool place! I would love to come back when we have more time to spend. I didnโt get to check out anything besides the lobby and my room but thereโs definitely more to enjoy in your stay. โ
โMy husband and I stayed at this property because we are driving from the New England coast to upstate New York and wanted a halfway place in the extreme heat. I had remembered this place finally from a couple visits when I was a little girl and had always wanted to go back. We had a lovely room and one of the cottages we had great meals at the main restaurant and the Red Mill.
We loved swimming in the lake at the resort and at Button Bay Park. My husband visited the nearby Marine museum, and I...
โThis particular Microtel was clean, comfortable, and convenient and the hotel staff was very friendly and accessible.
We would stay here again when in the area.

Definitely recommend keeping the second lock on the door at all times because despite the "do not disturb" sign hanging on the knob, housekeeping let themselves in without knocking. Never had that happen before. โ
